- SGS GJul 13, 20261.0Not worth the effort or the money, go anywhere else other than AMA. 1. Regular excuses for lack of service, ie. blaming others for their lack of service. 2. Phone service is abysmal, don't even bother. 3. Service at service centers takes hours to even see someone, and scheduling an appointment ahead of time is months in advance. 4. If you think lifelong member is going to get you any real benefits or service, think otherwise. 5. They don't want to deal with any estates and make it almost impossible to deal with.

I switched to them in February because I got quoted $50/month less than my policy at the time, only for them to increase my premium by $130/month a month after totally blind siding me and the lackadaisical advisor’s only solution was to switch to a different insurance company and now I’ve done that and called them to cancel my policy and they still charge me over $400 in cancellation fees. I made a huge mistake trying out AMA insurance, don’t be like me. A word is enough for the wise.
