I had my auto insurance with Eldon Kizer for the past couple of years, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.
After receiving a significant premium increase at renewal, I shopped for alternative coverage and secured a new policy that saves me $500 every six months. I promptly notified Eldon via email of my intent to cancel my policy. It took several days to receive a response, and when I did, I was asked to complete a cancellation form for his records.
The form requested unnecessary information, including details about my new insurance provider and policy—information that is not required to process a cancellation. The process felt unnecessarily complicated and unprofessional, especially since all relevant details about my existing policy had already been provided.
Despite my concerns, I completed and returned the form (excluding the irrelevant information). Eldon acknowledged receipt of the form, yet failed to actually cancel the policy.
Nearly a month later, I received a notice from Allstate indicating returned check fees and late payment charges—because the policy was never canceled.
This lack of follow-through and communication is unacceptable. Fortunately, I never had to file a claim during my time with him, but based on this experience, I have serious concerns about the level of service that would have been provided.
I cannot recommend working with Eldon. The customer service was poor, communication was inconsistent, and the agreed-upon action was not completed.

very good job, helpful
So far worst insurance experience i've ever had. Seems like they work more for the other side so they can raise your rates, which have already been raised many times.
If I could give them −5 stars, I would
I am not impressed in the slightest. I have had to do all the legwork.
My collision shop has done most of the communication. It is their policy to make you pay for the. Rental car.
And it is at their discretion, whether they will reimburse you or not. I don't know about you, but I don't have an extra $500 laying around.
So I am now dropping my car off at the shop. And it seems that I have to walk home
Thanks all state it seems you don't take care of anybody, but yourself
⭐️ One Star – Absolutely Terrible Experience
I have never had such a terrible experience with an insurance company in my life. Eldon Kizer is hands-down the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I would never recommend them to anyone—in fact, I strongly advise everyone to stay far, far away. From start to finish, their service was an absolute nightmare.
Communication is nonexistent. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and when you do finally get someone on the line, they are rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. It feels like they are actively trying to make the process as confusing and frustrating as possible.
The policies themselves are a joke. Hidden fees, unclear terms, and misleading promises make it feel like a scam. They misrepresented coverage, and when issues came up, they refused to honor what was promised. The amount of stress and wasted time I’ve had dealing with this company is unbelievable.
Claims? Don’t even get me started. Filing a claim with Eldon Kizer is like entering a Kafka novel. Paperwork disappears, approvals take forever (if they even happen), and you are constantly bounced around between untrained representatives who have no clue what they’re doing. We felt completely scammed and helpless.
Honestly, this company is a nightmare from every angle—customer service, honesty, responsiveness, and integrity. I cannot overstate how awful this experience has been. We will never use Eldon Kizer again, and we are actively warning friends, family, and anyone who will listen to avoid them at all costs.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not touch this company. They are a disgrace to the insurance industry. One star is generous.
