- JTJennie TianggaoFeb 21, 20261.0Our home and auto insurance have been with Allstate under Jeff Case for over eight years. During that time, we were never contacted to review our policies or offered any discounts, despite having no auto claims for more than five years. Because of this, we decided to shop around and found a better rate through Costco auto insurance. When I informed Jeff’s office that we would be transferring our policy, I was suddenly told they could reduce our monthly premium from over $270 to around $140. Our bill has also fluctuated over the years without clear explanation or prior notice. In addition, we were informed that transferring our auto policy would result in a 25% increase in our home insurance premium. This was very frustrating, as it raises the question of why these savings were not offered earlier, especially considering our long-standing loyalty and claim-free history. These options should be presented proactively, not only when a customer decides to leave. Ultimately, this experience confirmed our decision to transfer both our auto and home insurance policies. Loyal customers deserve regular policy reviews and transparency to ensure they are receiving the best possible value.
