I just wish that each store would honor a lower price from another Lowes. Last year we spent over $40k on materials to renovate the house we bought in the mountains so every dollar saved makes a huge difference.
- RRRickDec 22, 20251.0Do not use installed services. I spent 5 figures on two entry doors and a standard size storm door. The entry doors arrived on schedule (approximately 2 months). The storm door took almost 1/2 year. The glass in the main entry door is wrong. The salesman said to have let the installer put it in and the glass would be corrected later. It was not corrected. No manager at the store will answer calls. After months, I finally agreed (with the salesman) to take a partial credit and another storm door (at no charge) as compensation for the mess. I got the partial credit but no storm door. The second entry door creeks like it is 100 years old. The inside trim is way too tight with lots of caulk added to a misaligned corner.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
