I came to pick up a piece of moulding for a project, I only needed a 4ft piece. Typically, I go to HomeDepot but thought I’d give Lowe’s a go. NEVER AGAIN! After asking for one piece of moulding to be cut, I was told their saw was inoperative. The manager, Andrea, claimed they had NO self service stations to operate the hand saw myself. Now mind you, HomeDepot offers both a self service kiosk to cut your own pieces OR ask an associate who will use the big saw to cut it. No problem. The manager, Andrea, claimed we MUST purchase the 8ft moulding piece, even though it is sold by the linear foot. I only needed exactly 4ft. Why would I pay for 8ft? She fought with me stating I have to purchase the full piece before they’ll cut it? HomeDepot would never treat me this way! Ridiculous to sit there and argue with a customer. Useless employees, managers, and store. I will never visit Lowe’s again. I’m forever a loyal HomeDepot customer!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
