    To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about repeated delivery failures and a refusal to complete installation for a washer and dryer purchase made through Lowe’s. I placed an order on December 3rd for a washer and dryer totaling approximately $1,400. At the time of purchase, I was promised a delivery date of December 13th. Based on this assurance, I also opened a Lowe’s credit card specifically for this purchase. Since then, Lowe’s has failed to meet three separate delivery commitments: December 13th, December 15th, and December 18th. The December 15th delivery was reportedly canceled due to inclement weather; however, there was no snow or hazardous weather on the ground for the December 13th or December 18th dates. Despite this, those deliveries were also missed without explanation. On the 18th I received confirmation that my order was “next stop.” The delivery never occurred, and no contact was made to explain the failure. When a delivery team did finally arrive, they refused to carry the washer and dryer upstairs or complete the installation. This limitation was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase, during scheduling, or in any customer service communication. The staircase is permanent, structurally sound, and plenty wide enough for appliance delivery. In fact, my brother and I previously carried the original washer and dryer up these same stairs without any difficulty. The refusal was not due to clearance or safety concerns. When I contacted the store seeking resolution, I was told the manager was “too busy” to speak with me and was refused corporate contact information. This response further compounded the issue and demonstrated a lack of accountability and customer support. As a result of these repeated failures, I have: - Rearranged my schedule multiple times for missed deliveries - Been left without installed appliances despite paying for delivery and installation - Received misleading delivery confirmations - Experienced refusal of service with no prior disclosure - Been denied appropriate escalation at the store level I am requesting immediate escalation of this matter, written confirmation of how it will be resolved, and appropriate compensation for repeated service failures. Resolution should include either a properly authorized delivery and installation or reimbursement for third-party movers, along with a refund or credit for failed delivery and installation services. This has been an ongoing and avoidable issue, and I expect prompt and professional resolution.
