We're offering safe Alterations services for your convenience. During your in-store Alterations appointment, you can expect a safe environment where a mask is provided to you. Alterations employees will also be staying safe in both a mask and gloves. We'll take precautions such as increased sanitization in fitting rooms. If you had alterations being completed before our store closures and your completed garments are ready for pickup, we'll reach out to coordinate complimentary shipping of items directly to you. If safe Contactless Curbside Pickup is available at your store, you can choose to pick up completed garments via this method or have them shipped to you.

- KRKarley RussertOct 16, 20212.0I had a dress altered here for a wedding I'm standing in. This was my first time using Nordstrom as my usual seamstress had fallen ill. I didn't purchase the dress at Nordstrom but when I dropped it off at my fitting that was noted as well as one small stain the seamstress found on the back panel of the dress. One small stain on the back, fine, I could still wear it, it wasn't noticeable. When I came to pick it up someone had tied and knotted the bottom of my dress with the garment bag and the entire bottom of the dress is wrinkled. There are also FOUR new stains on the front of the dress which were not there previously. When someone came out to speak with me they offered to re-steam it for me and attempt to get "some of the stains out" if I had time to wait around (I should not have to wait around longer for their mistake when I was told my garment was ready). They look like grease/oil stain (the fabric is chiffon). In the end I left and decided to just take it to a professional dry cleaner as I don't want the dress ruined more than it already is. Very disappointed with the problem solving and customer service. Now I'm going to to have to pay even more to correct their problem. The alterations themself turned out great and I am happy with how it fits, but you can do better with customer service Nordstrom! Would've been nice if my dry cleaning was offered to be paid for. What a hassle. Not sure I'd bother coming back for this service.
