At checkout, one manager directed us to Lane 4, but another manager then became upset with my husband, repeatedly telling him the lane wasn’t open—even though we were told to go there. Her tone was rude and unnecessary, and it was clear she was more focused on counting her register so she could leave than helping customers. We were purchasing a floor model item and had to wait for it to be boxed. When an employee came to assist, the manager loudly scolded her in front of us and told her to grab a different item from the front of the store. I explained that I did not want that one, as it was decorated and I had already waited. I was met with more attitude. I want to sincerely thank the non-management employee who witnessed all of this and took the time to apologize to me. I didn’t catch your name, but your kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Hobby Lobby, you can—and should—do better.
