  Management here was extremely rude and unprofessional. For a Christian-based store, the behavior we experienced was disappointing. At checkout, one manager directed us to Lane 4, but another manager then became upset with my husband, repeatedly telling him the lane wasn’t open—even though we were told to go there. Her tone was rude and unnecessary, and it was clear she was more focused on counting her register so she could leave than helping customers. We were purchasing a floor model item and had to wait for it to be boxed. When an employee came to assist, the manager loudly scolded her in front of us and told her to grab a different item from the front of the store. I explained that I did not want that one, as it was decorated and I had already waited. I was met with more attitude. I want to sincerely thank the non-management employee who witnessed all of this and took the time to apologize to me. I didn’t catch your name, but your kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Hobby Lobby, you can—and should—do better.

  Love shopping at Hobby Lobby, always have great deals and products all year round. Friendly staff and organized if you haven't shopped in Hobby Lobby you dont know what you're missing.

  My child volunteered as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army, which partners with Hobby Lobby during the holidays. This past weekend, she was required to stand outside in freezing temperatures and when it got too cold in the evening, she approached the manager and was told she was not allowed to bring the kettle into the store’s vestibule. Both Hobby Lobby and the Salvation Army should do better. This is completely unacceptable. No child, especially one volunteering out of kindness, should be subjected to dangerous cold because two organizations can’t show basic decency. Hobby Lobby and the Salvation Army should be ashamed. Their refusal to provide even minimal protection from the weather is not only irresponsible - it’s the opposite of what the Christian and charitable values they claim to stand for. Do better.
