- AAAlexis5 days ago2.0I typcially go to Kenosha hobby lobby for my framing projects but happened to be closer to racine and decided to give it a shot. Bad idea. This framing department has really gone downhill. What happened to customer service? I picked out a frame from the sales floor and asked for a mat to be cut for a picture I was wanting framed. Randy said " you'll be able to get it in there on your own" while already bagging up my items and trying to rush me away. He also grabbed mats away from me while I was looking at them and talked over (and through) me to a coworker about personal stuff while I was trying to get help with the project, but I couldn't seem to actually keep his attention. His tone with me was very condescending and he acted like I was holding him hostage by simply asking him to do is job. Would not recommend.

My only complaint is there is little signage to help direct you to the area you need. I don't want to have to walk the entire store when I just need one item.

When I got home I attempted to use the iron but it didn't get hot enough to iron on the stickers on so I had to purchase a regular size iron. No problem. When I went to return the $13.99 iron they said that because it was opened they couldn't return it? I then asked for in-store credit. The manager said no, they couldn't do that. I really hope taking my money was worth the $13.99 because it just cost you a customer who spent quite a bit of money in your store.
