My husband and I purchased a refrigerator from Washing Machine Man on November 6th. They’re weren’t able to deliver it until the following week. When the delivery guys arrived they removed my old refrigerator with no problem. When bringing in the new one they were having a hard time getting it through one day. I suggested another door - they said no this door is ok. It took them almost half hour to get the refrigerator in my home. After they got the refrigerator and plugged it in my husband noticed that the delivery guys damaged our freshly painted walls. They damaged the walls and when mentioning it to them they acted clueless. They was in a hurry for us to sign off on the delivery that they didn’t think we’d notice the damage. When we mentioned it to the delivery driver he acted as if he didn’t care. He made a note on the paperwork that there was damage done to the walls when delivering. He said someone would reach out to us about the damage. Two days went by and no call. I called the store and was told to text pictures of the damage to the store phone and someone would reach out. Another two days go by and no update. I called to get a follow up and was told that someone was supposed to reach out - no one never did. A week later we realized the refrigerator doors were not properly installed and would come completely off when opening the doors. They were water also didn’t work. I called and I was told no one could come out for several days and was asked if there was a note that said if the water part worked. There was nothing indicating that the water didn’t work. Also sent pictures of that. Someone eventually came out to look at the refrigerator and fix the doors and look at the water. The water couldn’t be fixed and we were told they needed to order a part. Again a week goes past and they come out and still nothing. The owner and someone else comes out but everything is still not complete. After almost three weeks it seems like everything is fine. On December 29 the ice maker and freezer stopped working and was no longer getting cold. it was leaking so I had to turn the water line off from my basement. Later that day the entire refrigerator stop working and in less than 2 months the entire refrigerator stopped getting cold. My husband called and was told they couldn’t get anyone out until that Saturday which was 5 days away. I called by December 30 to find out why would we need to wait 5 days to have it looked at. I was told they only had 2 technicians working. I explained to her that there staff had already been out to my home 4 times and that made no sense. She apologized and that was that. Now today January 3 the technician comes and within minutes you’ll need to swap it out and get a new one. It’s been less than two months and now I need to swap out the refrigerator. My husband and I go to the store to see what our options are. There’s nothing worth getting and then to be told to get something for the same price range after the inconvenience you caused us. Not only wasted time and spoiled food that they won’t replace we have to pick from the junk they have with notes on them they say no warrant-30 day warranty and something that you can hardly read. This is by far the worst experience from a used appliance store. No accountability or willingness to make the situation better. I would NOT recommend. Please do your research before shopping here. They’ll damage your property and leave you with a refrigerator that can’t be repaired. My advice by a brand new appliance.

I've been using The Washing Machine Man's service since I've been in Milwaukee for 15 years, so they are my go to when I need an appliance or repair. Wilson did his best to solve the issue on the first try, but stated he needed to grab a part and will return. He let me know what the main issue was along with an additional problem the washer had that I was unaware of. Sure enough he came back the same day and worked on the appliance until he got it right and the price that I was quoted initially never changed. Thank you again Wilson and The Washing Machine Man for getting me right every time!

I found The Washing Machine Man through Nextdoor. The office was curtious when I called to make an appointment and made sure I understood their policies. I received a confirmation call the morning of the visit and then a half hour before the service person expected to arrive. They arrived in the promise window time. Unfortunately I can not comment on the quality of work because after listening to the machine they were kind enough to let me know the cost of the repair would not be worth putting into my "old" machine. There were no pressure sales or false promises. I recommend The Washing Machine Man.

Before I start this review I just want to clarify I have no problems with the people in the office themselves, they aren’t at fault whatsoever. My gripe’s are with the delivery service these people offer and whoever they call their boss.
I picked out a fridge from this despicable place before buying the fridge I told the people in the office the measurements of my newly bought home and they moved along with the process of me buying originally a French door fridge.
Upon delivery the driver(s) smelled like weed and upon attempting to deliver my fridge they got stuck on my stairwell. They were very unprofessional, going as far as laughing and making comments about the damage they caused; just a lack of professionalism. You would think if you constantly move and deliver appliances to peoples home you’d know if 1, it can fit and 2, if you can get it up there without causing damage. As you can see both drivers failed stupendously. So Friday I didn’t have the fridge I picked out and already had damage in my recently bought home which that was nice. After that the manager of this establishment called me and said it would be fixed and someone would be in contact with me to schedule repairs and I should receive a call from the boss. Saturday, a day after I still received no call even after going back to this despicable establishment and picking out another fridge because this place doesn’t have a refund policy which is on me I can’t blame them that should’ve been my first red flag to show me not to go to this place. After I picked up a similarly sized fridge I couldn’t trust this place to deliver another fridge after the damage they caused; I had to do it myself to do it right. I was able to move a very similarly sized fridge up my stairs without causing any additional damage to my house. So just a heads up to anybody thinking about going to this business realize 2 things and recognize the risk you’re taking. 1, they don’t have the skills to deliver an appliance the right way or can’t recognize they don’t have the ability to do so on top of being unprofessional throughout the whole process. 2, their boss figure does not communicate with you, you would think after causing this damage someone would get back to you asap. This happened 11/21/25 and it is now 11/24/25 8am and I have not received a call from their boss figure or the person who is allegedly supposed to be doing the work to fix this just stupid mistake. If you could cuss in google reviews trust me this review would not be worded the way it is. On top of that I don’t even know if their delivery drivers are qualified to install appliances. I only saw them with one pipe wrench I don’t even know if they held back on my pipes / fittings while installing my stove. So on top of the damage I now have to worry if they caused a Gas leak in my house on top of the damage they caused this is just plain unacceptable and not how you conduct business. If this is not resolved there will be a grievance filed and a very strong possibility of a lawsuit being filed. I need to be contacted asap and hopefully this gets their attention on how serious this matter is. I don’t know if they think they can just take advantage of the situation just because their dealing with someone young but that’s not the case. It’d be a shame if not only they lose business and got sued in the process. Thank you to anybody who took the time to fully read this review I hope I can encourage you to go to an official place of business and think twice before conducting your business here. Additionally if this place tries to deny they caused the damage not only do I have the timestamps on these photos taken before the damage , I also have the pictures from my appraisal and the copy of your delivery paper still.

Yes, we will come out to repair your appliance. We do not work on Samsung or LG appliances. Most repairs fall into a category we refer to as a standard repair. Standard repairs are $189.00. If your repair costs more than $189.00 and you decline, you do not owe us a dime. If your repair is 189.00 or less and you decline the repair, there is a $65.00 fee.
I bought gas and now I need electric what should I do?
If you bought it from us and ordered the wrong thing, the first delivery is FREE, but there is a $60 re-delivery fee to swap it out. If there is a price difference, it is $60 plus the difference.
Unfortunately, we can't accept trade-ins if you've moved and your new home is compatible with a different energy source.
