Very racist store. Im African American (53) and I love plants. I love shopping at Menards and Home depot. But this one particular day my oldest daughter (32) who also love plants and my best friend (43) were plant shopping in Oak Creek. On our way home we saw a Lowe's in Franklin. None of us been to that location before. We were looking for the Mint Monstera.we were hoping Lowe's had the rare plant. No mint Monsteras instead they had alot of plants on clearance. Also I make my own chunky soil mix so I was looking for certain types of soil. After walking around finding plants and soil and more stuff I didn't need... I knew I went over my budget. As we decided we needed to leave before we get more. We began looking for a register we noticed the self checkout. We had two carts full of plants an dirt. When we got closer to self checkout an decided which register to use we saw a large white man about 6 ft 295 lbs. I spoke to him (hello) because he stared at me. He asked could he bring me a cart? I said yes thank you appreciate you. When he brought me the cart he didn't leave. I thanked him again but once again he didn't move he stood so close to me I could smell his breath. I didn't understand why he was standing so close when I didn't need his assistance. Everything that I forsure wanted i used the gun to ring it up an placed it in the empty cart he gave me. I also had plenty of pots one inside the other. I scanned three black pots first. I also had three white pots that did not have a price so I scanned one. He said you got three of them. I wasn't for sure i was getting them. And at that point I figured he was racially profiling me saying im stealing or trying to steal. He would not walk away to let me scan the rest of my items. I felt so uncomfortable. My daughter was also scanning her items in her basket at the other self checkout across from me. She asked him if he could assist her he told her he couldn't because he was watching me. That's when I felt soooo uncomfortable and embarrassed. Especially since I wasn't doing anything wrong. I felt like I had to be watched because im black. I put everything except the dirt i rung up back. I was so upset I wanted to cry. He made me feel like at any moment the police was going to come get me for shopping. A lady came over older white lady that worked with him an she said we are suppose to assistance you.... I said yes when I need your help not to be watched and you stand very close were I hear you breathing. I asked to speak to his boss. A man named Rob came to me an asked what happened I told him an he said sorry. He said he is a older person. I didn't understand why that was an excuse. Because he was older I was suppose to let him treat me anyway he wanted even though I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed. I will never shop at this store ever again. I feel I was racially profiled an no one cared. And they treated me like I was a black lady using the race card. My daughter calmed me down an suggested we go to Mernards closer to home. So glad I did found plants an everything I put back. Mernards had great customer service.... and I got everything I needed with a smile. DONT SHOP AT THIS LOWE'S HORRIBLE PLACE.

I purchased a dryer online from Lowe’s for $685.79, including delivery and professional installation. The unit arrived scratched. When powered on, it immediately tripped the breaker and caused the electrical panel area to become hot.
A licensed electrician determined the dryer had been improperly installed (a loose wire). After correcting the wiring, the dryer briefly worked, then stopped functioning entirely.
I contacted Lowe’s multiple times requesting reimbursement for the electrician and resolution for the scratched, non-functional appliance. I was told to contact a third party, then informed nothing could be done due to a 48-hour policy — despite this being a delivery damage, installation error, and safety issue.
The dryer is still not working. Extremely disappointing experience and lack of accountability.

Purchased a fridge with delivery and installation. The day it was supposed to be delivered I got a call that they were 30 minutes away. I took everything out of my old fridge and made sure I was ready for delivery. Delivery was scheduled for 2-6pm and at around 2:40 I saw the truck arrive outside and was watching through the window as they pulled ip to the curb and then drove away 1minute later. I called the number that had called me and they told me that construction crew had told them they could not park and complete the delivery. There was no construction crew present, they had left at 1pm. All there was, was cones and parked machinery across the street. The whole one minute that they were parked I watched no one step out of the truck and no one approach the truck. I called multiple numbers and no one did anything. Lowe’s customer service was nice and helpful and referred me to the dispatcher of the company they use for deliveries. I believe it’s Jb Hunt but the guy sounded kind of muffled so I’m not 100% certain. The delivery company hung up the call as soon as it started ringing and then later decided to reschedule the delivery on a date they chose without consulting us first. The refused to get their guys to turn around and bring the fridge. I don’t know why they would lie about a construction crew being there, I guess maybe they just didn’t feel like carrying the fridge into the house . But anyways, lowe’s was helpful but the company they use for deliveries sucks. They should change it.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
