In the end, Lowes acknowledges that the errors are theirs, however the best they can possibly do is give me a 10% refund. I ordered materials separately so they would arrive organized and itemized for six units. Instead, Lowe’s sent everything as one bulk order, creating a huge logistical mess. I had to spend an entire week with five workers just to separate and organize everything. On top of that, we discovered over $2,000 worth of materials missing. When I raised the issue, I expected Lowe’s to make it right, especially given the amount I’ve spent here. Instead, management completely dismissed the problem and told me everything was delivered. We obviously did not “miss” the large missing items. This is simply terrible management and a complete lack of accountability. I’ll be taking my future renovation projects to Home Depot, and I strongly advise other investors or contractors to do the same. If you’re looking for reliability on large orders, AVOID THIS LOCATION at all costs.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
