  Wow this place is AMAZING!! SALES ON EVERY ITEM I GOT and I had a cart full! The selection is better than any store and the staff is kind and helpful. I cannot come into this store without buying alot because everything is so cute and such good prices!

  On 01/29/2026, I attempted to return an item at the Franklin, WI location and was directed to wait in a specific line for returns. While waiting, the same cashier who redirected me completed multiple return transactions for other customers, allowed several customers to bypass me in line, and then stated to me that she “does not do returns” while actively processing one. All customers who were allowed to bypass me appeared to be white, as was the cashier. While I cannot speak to intent, the pattern of treatment felt biased and discriminatory. This experience was frustrating, humiliating, and far below acceptable customer service standards. As a long-time Hobby Lobby customer, I was extremely disappointed and sincerely hope this behavior is addressed so that no other customers experience similar treatment.

  There was a very uncomfortable experience at this Hobby Lobby during a simple return my sister was attempting to make. My sister was returning a small item and waited in line at a register. The older cashier told her she “doesn’t do returns” and sent her to a different line, specifically directing her to another cashier who so happened to be a similar ethnicity as my sister. This did not seem to be anything significant at the time. My sister politely said along the lines, “okay, no problem, sorry,” and was polite. After she moved lines, the original older cashier then began processing returns at her own register anyway, very loudly offering her assistance for returns. She also pulled other customers from my sister’s new line to handle their returns, effectively skipping my sister even though she had been redirected there. My sister is Latina, and the customers who were pulled ahead of her were white. Regardless of intent, the situation felt unfair, inconsistent, and uncomfortable. Returns should be handled consistently, and customers shouldn’t be moved around only to be skipped. I hope management reviews this and provides better training on treating all customers equally and respectfully.
