- LHLiz HeimerlFeb 9, 20265.0I helped my brother and sister-in-law rent a unit online and moved their stuff to Extra Space Storage in Fitchburg, WI this week. Jamie, the manager, was super helpful in giving me a tour of how the digital access works and answering all my questions, including follow-up questions the next day. The storage area is spacious, clean, and well-lit, and the drive-in access for indoor units means no worries about bad weather or walking on slippery ice outside. Several heavy duty rolling carts are available right near the entrance. I ended up needing to call tech support with a question about the Extra Space app, and Tara was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. I 100% recommend this place for their nice facility, wonderful customer service, and great prices. The indoor storage building is much more spacious and easier to navigate than the cramped place my brother and SIL previously used. There, they also had to deal with large areas of slippery ice covering the pavement outside the entrance door to the indoor units. The icing on the cake is that the monthly fee is less than half of what they were paying for the same size unit at the previous place. Thank you, Extra Space, Jamie, & Tara!
