- JWJohn WalshOct 10, 20255.0Super impressed at how fast we were able to get our tree removed. We had a large branch break on a dying tree, but it wasn't all the way down so we wanted to get it down ASAP. We elected to have the entire tree cut down. I called 8 places in the area and Wellner was the only one able to get it done within two weeks, outside of a couple other places there able to do it with an emergency fee. In this case the tree was all the way on the ground within 24 hours of my initial phone call. Prices also were not out of line with what other companies were wanting to charge, so that combined with the timeframe we were given made this an easy decision. Note on timing - we were quoted 4-7 days to have the tree completed removed and stump ground but we elected to do the cleanup ourselves to save money and have it down faster - but again even if we chose that option it would have been faster than anyone else was telling us for the same work we ended up having done.

They cleaned up so well that you wouldn’t know they were there. Street, sidewalk, yard, all clean. The price was reasonable. The whole job and clean up took only one and one half days. I’m so very impressed with their work and wish them success in their business.

Within a day, he had sent us a price quote, along with a planned timeframe. As this was not an emergency, he got in contact with us later in the summer. His team came out, and they were very clear about getting the right information about which trees and what the tasks were (cut-down, not removal). The team worked efficiently and surprisingly quietly, and were able to get their machinery out to the location with the least impactful pathway. The tree pieces were organized and out of the way of any paths or viewpoints, and they did precisely what we requested. Wellner Arboriculture was very responsible, careful, and reliable in their estimates and work. Thank you so much!

A call to Wellner Arboriculture was quickly answered and service was provided the same day. I am certain, that may not always be the case, but it just so happened to be the right time and right place (that day for us and the Wellner team). The professionalism in communication (timely estimate and photos of before and after) were greatly appreciated, by us and hopefully our insurance underwriter. The after photos revealed a completely cleaned up site, which gave us comfort knowing the job was completely done. The silver lining in this for us, is despite losing a beautiful shade tree, we are able to work with Travis and his team this fall, in the planting of another Maple tree.
