  Place is pretty amazing, I have to admit. Tons is stuff and decent prices for the most part. Went in to grab something specific and got lost looking at all the cool stuff.

  On 12/1/25 I bought Christmas wrapping paper and accidentally forgot it at the register. I called the next day to see if they could hold it for me until I could come pick it up. At first the person on the phone told me she didn’t think she could, but then a manager told her they had to hold it since I already paid for it. They took my name and phone number down to put with the roll of wrapping paper. I live 40 minutes north so I couldn’t just swing by that day to pick up and let them know that. Today on 12/23/25 I came to pick up my wrapping paper and was told that they did not have it anymore. I was very irritated about this and they asked if I wanted to speak to a manager which I did. So the manager comes over and first said she wouldn’t have put the paper back. Then when she comes back tells me it needed to be picked up within 2 weeks. I told the manager this was not explained to me and the paper even had my phone number attached to it along with my name. She apologized and said I could pick another paper from the shelf. I told her there was no more Christmas wrapping paper and I was told “right. You can chose from the celebration paper.” I told her I did not want celebration paper and how I live 40 minutes away plus I have been flooded in with the weather we have had the last two weeks. I was not offered anything except picking celebration paper. I told the manager I wanted my money back if they sold my paper. She said she could do that, but I don’t feel like neither the manager with the red lanyard or the other manager I spoke with were any bit genuinely apologetic. Nor did they offer a refund or try to make it right. Felt very much like well too bad sort of situation. I only paid $5.43 because it was 50% off when I bought it, but it is the principal of it all. It was my mistake that I left it behind, but I did pay for the paper and you can see on the footage I paid for it, but forgot it. I called as soon as I realized and was reassured they would have it in the office for me when I could get it. I said many times I was unsure when I could come pick it up, but was never told there was a timeline and then to be met with such carefree customer service was surprising and disappointing. I am so glad I did not drive all the way to hobby lobby just to pick up the wrapping paper for them to have put it back on the shelf, I would have been even more irritated. It’s a shame I have always loved Hobby Lobby, but this experience really put a bad taste in my mouth.
