- SSSK StuttgartJan 3, 20261.0It Sucks now that Ken is gone… So I had given this ExtraSpace Storage 5-stars before when Ken was (still) the Manager, who had cleaned it up, gotten rid of the Horrible Tenants, Gave the Utmost Professionalism, Communication, and who helped keep the Rates Reasonable. Now only 3-4 Months later, I just saw my Rates go up $30 - inc the late fee suddenly jump +$5 and a new guy (but oh, He made sure to say he was NOT new to ExtraSpace) James, GASLIGHT me on the phone to Conservations we had earlier about my Rates. Paige was also cool too BEFORE with Ken— now she’s gotten Weird and Snooty too. So now what used to be $109, I am paying $156 within a MONTH of this new Guy (after being 2 wks late, but that’s STILL Inexcusable). I was Still paying/Saw my Reasonable Rate only TWO weeks ago after talking to James. Then after I asked why was there no Email Notice, this James said “I Don’t Remember talking to You,” (Gaslighting BS! There’s only 3 of you FT on Staff. He DEF remembered I spoke to him last time.) Then he said, “WA State says we are legally bound to notify by Mail.” BULLCRAP. They DEF shouldve NOTIFIED by Email as well. I almost had moved out 2 Yrs ago bc of Andrew- who was Lazy, Lied, Unprotecting Units, a Stupid Nightmare and EVERYONE hated him (who also apparently Sexually Harassed Women on the Property)— but now I have THIS, Dealing w/ Ripping Off, Abusive and Lying new Management. I am Out-of-State Unfortunately to Eat the Costs, but the next time I am back in the PacNW— I am Moving OUT. Its True, its Not the Space, or even the Price thats the Problem— but the Lack of Communication, Cleanliness, and ATTITUDE of the Managers that Makes the difference in the Storage Business. Very Disappointed now.

Apparently they really care about the customer experience here! They supply carts for hauling your item to your unit which is the best! Everything was very clean too! Highly recommend if you need a storage unit to talk with James . He was great!
