“Join me in the black male challengeI !” I challenge all black men from the area to go into Tukwila Lowe’s To Browse. Shop if you like, but your presence is the Challenge. The objective is to Change their behavior by challenging authority a natural pattern of targeting black men and labels them as criminals. If we don’t call them out. It will never end. Instead of being treated like a Customer , employees will treat you like an inmate. I beganshopping at this location when it First open as Eagle hardware, before Lowes bought them out.. I went in to the tukwila location gardening department today. Within minutes, the department was flooded with sales representatives with standing around Inside and outside the doors 20 deep. I would have like to believe they were there to help, but when I asked a question, the sales representative Seemed to put out, Even though they were doing nothing but milling about. I walked out to the main exit to check myself out Rather than be put through the humiliation of knowingly accepting The insult of being targeted by Lowe’s staff as being a thief. There was only one person at the main exit, Oh but wait… here they come. I went out to my car to load up, Then went back in to The gardening section to price Check a product against Amazon. The place was empty again! Just me, A few other customers and one sales clerk, But it’s soon got crowded again With Sales Clerks, but this time came directly to me To Ask questions. I normally order off of Amazon because of past racial discrimination. I thought racial discrimination, While shopping in The tukwila south center Location Was Getting less challenging. I guess I was wrong. If I would’ve been treated like a customer I would have purchased A bag of Scott’s turf builder plus weed & feed that covers 12,000 ft.² For $70 Without price checking. I ordered The same product but it covers 15,000 ft.² for $60 on Amazon this morning , And they delivered it this afternoon along with ortho bug clear. all for $77 Total after tax. So thanks, Lowe’s.

I generally shop at Lowe’s for my home needs, but my recent experiences at the checkout have been very uncomfortable. While using the self-checkout, an employee from the front door repeatedly approached me and began pushing buttons on my screen without me asking for any assistance. In other words she's very observant what I'm doing This felt invasive and unnecessary. What made the situation more concerning was that there were five or six other employees standing around the front door talking, yet I was the only person checking out and the only one being "monitored" this closely. It felt less like helpfulness and more like I was being watched or screened. This has happened multiple times now, and it makes for a very unwelcoming environment. Management should ensure that staff respect customers' personal space and that "help" is only provided when requested. I know there's other people go through the checkout without having that overwhelming help unless they ask for their help

Called the "Pro Desk" to inquire about when my delivery was supposed to delivered. Was originally told they would notify me the day before as to when it would be delivered. I received no text or email from anyone at the "Pro Desk" and when I called, I was told rudely that the driver already left and they couldn't tell me when he was going to deliver.

I recently had an issue with a missing battery from a brand new electric mower I purchased at the end of the previous calendar year at this location. Because we didn't need to mow the lawn until recently we hadn't unboxed it and we were no longer in the return policy window. Nini and Taylor helped resolve the issue and I appreciate the help and understanding from my admittedly naive position. Mistakes happen every day, so thanks for sharing the accountability!

I went today to check out interior plants. Two different employees asked me if I needed help. To both of them I told that I wanted to buy a very specific plant but I tried twice and they die in my house....both sounded like interested and trying to be helpful until another customer ready to pay (I wasn't at the line) showed up with a product in their hands. Both employees did the same. Stopped talking to me, asked the other person if they needed help to pay and BOTH employees just walked away leaving me talking alone......hahah. like what? I promise that I am not a karen/Darren. They came to talk to me. I do not start conversations.....they were an Asian woman in her 50 or 60 and a tall young guy in his 30s. They probably follow management instructions like "if someone is ready to pay, that's our priority". But I was there...to purchase a plant.....
