I will never shop at Home Depot again. We came here after a disappointing experience at Home Depot, and we were hooked up! We received the knowledge and expertise and experience that we were looking for. We are remodeling and needed a washer, dryer and stove. Frank in appliances helped us and he was amazing! He knew his stuff, was able to brainstorm with us, answer all our questions and he even went above and beyond for another customer Home Depot had also let down. He CARES about his and job and it shows in his service! We will use Lowes for all our home remodeling going forward and will be happy to spend our money here at a company that cares about its shoppers. I live right by Home Depot on South Tacoma Street but will drive out of my way due to the great help! Thanks Frank! You're amazing!!

It's kind of hard to know how to rate a store like this when, on the one hand, it can be fun to just look around at all the flooring styles, rugs and other home improvement or house-building items but, on the other hand, it seems a lot of the store employees are just dorky in one way or another - kind of hard to find when or if I really do need help and rather annoyingly "available" when I don't. I'll probably end up leaving this same basic review for the Home Depot on Center St. since it seems to be the same story there. So far, only at the Home Depot on Tacoma Mall Blvd. do employees seem to have a more appropriate understanding of how to behave around customers. I don't have a need to browse or shop stores like this very often. But unless I seek out a staff member to let them know I need something, I prefer to shop or just browse *undisturbed*. Here are some pointers: (1) Getting "offended'" with a customer who found it a bit annoying and disrespectful of you to just start trying to talk at their back when they were clearly NOT, primarily because they had their back turned, looking around for assistance is rude and inappropriate. (2) It's not to be presumed or assumed that because I'm a female shopping or "just browsing" alone in a store that my preferred title or name must be "Miss" - and most especially if or when I was clearly NOT actively asking or looking for "help" on finding or buying anything at the moment. (3) "Helicopter" style "customer service" is never a very good approach in any case, but someone's payment card not automatically working in a card reader is not a reason to automatically start "hovering" suspiciously at their side or over their shoulder any more than it's a "cue" that the customer might have a physical or mental disability - unless I ASK or clearly look to you for "assistance", please just stay out of my personal bubble and, yes, my credit/debit card/banking information is still just MY business, not yours. And, sure, I like any little bit of a discount I can get if that's what you're asking as I'm otherwise going through self-checkout - but (4) either just standing around *watching* me or hanging around in kind of a milquetoast or namby-pamby manner is likely going to just annoy me to the point of wanting to just get the heck back out of there more than it's going to "interest" me in anything further.
Thank you.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
