I bought a sub pump for $118. I used it for two minutes and it stopped pumping. When I went to returned it they said it had been in contact with water so they could not take it back. I reminded them it was a submersible pump and I would not know it didn’t work unless it came in contact with water. The manager parroted the same lines when he came. I was simply asking them to be decent humans. They sold me an item for over one hundred dollars that didn’t work and I was only after replacing it with one that worked. Unfortunately that didn’t work. So Lowe’s got a $118 richer and the manager and I both lost a small piece of our soul, me for being way to angry about it and him for upholding the company profits over doing the right thing. Will never step foot in there again.

Extremely clean and well-stocked. Plenty of staff offering assistance - which I declined. I'd rather wander on my own: hardware stores are like candy stores offering so many treats for so many projects. Every area I shopped had everything I needed that was (gasp!) easily found. Good job Lowes!
