  We had a fantastic experience working with Stoneside! I reached out to their Seattle team on behalf of my office located downtown. We needed retractable shades for a conference room in a modern, commercial space. Maria was our design consultant and Isidro took care of the installation. Both of them were incredibly patient, personable, and professional. Maria even made a second in-person visit to review our options when I struggled to make a final decision! Communication was clear and timely throughout the entire process. I highly recommend working with Stoneside! I will definitely reach out if we need shades/blinds services in the future!

  I contacted Stoneside Blinds while gathering quotes for custom shades in my new loft. I provided photos and measurements of the windows and asked if they could give me a rough ballpark estimate so I could compare options before scheduling any in-home consultations. Several other companies I contacted were able to review the same information and provide preliminary pricing without any issue. Stoneside, however, would not provide any pricing guidance and instead required scheduling a designer visit before even disucssing an approximate cost. While I understand and expected an in-person consultation, requiring one before sharing any pricing made it feel very pushy; and difficult to compare them with other vendors I was evaluating. When you're in the beginning stages of gathering quotes, a ballpark estimate goes a long way in helping customers decide whether it makes sense to move forward. The interaction itself was polite and professional, but the lack of pricing transparency meant I ultimately moved forward with companies that were willing to provide clearer information up front.

  We just had shades installed on two bathroom windows, one very large and the other small. The large one has an automatic opening/closing feature. Ian was our designer on the project, and was extremely responsive and helpful. He came to the house to review the situation and explain options. He volunteered to come out a second time if necessary, but we were good with the single visit. Isidro was our installer, and things could not have gone smoother. He arrived on-time and completed both installations in 40 minutes. He explained the remote control and battery charger operation, and left the work space completely clean. We have no hesitation in recommending Stoneside. If we have additional window work in the future, we will use them.
