  I visited this World Market location today and my daughter found an Easter egg hunt promo and the employee with gingery blonde hair made it seem like we found the card in a dishonest way. The employee immediately asked where we found it and she made it seem as if we had lied about where we found it and then made us feel super uncomfortable about it because she didn’t believe us, when it was clearly dated at today’s date. Very disappointed with her reaction and she should improve her customer service and not assume people lied about where they found things.

  I have never experienced customer service as unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to do their jobs as I have with World Market. I was trying to purchase ONE specific bag. I saw it in store, returned the next day, and it was gone. Online, the item is sold out yet multiple other stores still have it in stock. I am more than willing to pay full price and shipping. I called over five different World Market locations, and every single employee I spoke with was unkind, uninterested, and completely unwilling to help. Not one person attempted to problem solve. I was essentially told “no” over and over because helping me would require them to do something extra. I was told only one location can ship items, yet that location refuses to have the bag transferred to them from a store that has it in stock. Customer service also refused to coordinate between stores to ship the item to me. No alternatives. No solutions. Just excuses. This is honestly shocking. I am a customer actively trying to give this company money, and World Market has made it nearly impossible due to laziness and rigid, customer hostile policies. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Retail customer service should include at least a minimal effort to help someone purchase a product you clearly still have. The complete lack of care, empathy, and problem solving I experienced has guaranteed I will no longer shop here and I will absolutely think twice before recommending World Market to anyone.
