  I have never experienced customer service as unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to do their jobs as I have with World Market. I was trying to purchase ONE specific bag. I saw it in store, returned the next day, and it was gone. Online, the item is sold out yet multiple other stores still have it in stock. I am more than willing to pay full price and shipping. I called over five different World Market locations, and every single employee I spoke with was unkind, uninterested, and completely unwilling to help. Not one person attempted to problem solve. I was essentially told “no” over and over because helping me would require them to do something extra. I was told only one location can ship items, yet that location refuses to have the bag transferred to them from a store that has it in stock. Customer service also refused to coordinate between stores to ship the item to me. No alternatives. No solutions. Just excuses. This is honestly shocking. I am a customer actively trying to give this company money, and World Market has made it nearly impossible due to laziness and rigid, customer hostile policies. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Retail customer service should include at least a minimal effort to help someone purchase a product you clearly still have. The complete lack of care, empathy, and problem solving I experienced has guaranteed I will no longer shop here and I will absolutely think twice before recommending World Market to anyone.

  I go here EXCLUSIVELY for the snacks. I grew up in Scotland and other than ordering online this is my only option. Have NOT been disappointed yet.

  I made an order via the online portal from a simple Google search. On the portal was a promo code. I applied the code. A popular for the WM credit card kept popping up and wouldn't move from covering up the Total window. When I finished my purchase, the confirmation showed the reg price without the discount. I contacted customer svc immediately. 30 min later and after several holds their assoc couldn't verify the friggin Google ad. Seriously? Your own ad? I'm contacting my cc co. Screw WM online. Condescending and useless.
