    Purchased a dishwasher, it arrived dented. Waited two weeks for the replacement, which also arrived dented. Circumstances sucked, but I appreciated how Lowes responded to the situation. Stuff happens sometimes, I don't blame them for the forklift damage but I appreciate how they responded and took care of us. And the installers were excellent.

    Business hours should be updated since they tend to close early Called ahead to make sure the store would still be open until 10pm and they had the item I needed in stock. I rushed over there (40 min drive) and got to the store at 9:50 needing one single item for a job I had the following day. I was standing at the door at 9:54 thinking I had made it just in time…apparently that is not the case as an older woman was standing at the door with it locked shooing me away saying they were closed even after I explained the situation. Won’t be going there again, the drive to Home Depot at least I know they’ll do what they can to help me out like usual.

    First time going in this Lowe’s. Will be my last as well. Went in to purchase a door jamb, couldn’t find any employees in that area so I looked around and found someone working in wood cutting. Told him I just needed some assistance in the door jamb section and he said ok I’ll let someone know. Couple minutes go by and he walked by and reassured me someone was coming. about 15 more minutes go by so I went and found a different employee and told him I’d been waiting for someone to come help. He said he had to go do something real quick and he’d be right over. Never saw this guy again. After another 10 minutes I went to see the cashier and told her what was going on and at that point I just want to talk to whoever is in charge and I wouldn’t be spending any money there at this point. More than 5 min go by and a manager finally comes and asks me what’s going on. I told him and he didn’t really seem to care. He did say he hoped to make my shilling experience better but I informed him that at this point it was past that. He told me it was busy. It’s funny I saw plenty of other people getting assistance promptly. I’m not surprised it’s just irritating as I was in there with my sick 2 year old. I’m not from this area but what I’ve noticed in about 2 years of living here is that customer service just isn’t the strong suit around here. I grew up on the east coast and in 33 years I’ve never asked to speak to a manager (I have worked in customer service before). Since I’ve lived here I have felt the need to do it several times already.
