  Current tenant; do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Stay far away. I’ve been renting storage units consistently for over 5 years—often multiple units at a time—and this has been, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had. I started at $132/month, with the understanding it would increase to $171 after the first month. That happened—but then the price kept jumping with no real warning or justification: $225, then $250, now $275–$280. These constant increases have caused my card to decline multiple times because I budget very specifically, pulling a fixed amount monthly from my investments. Instead of working with me, they’ve repeatedly threatened to auction off my unit—more than five times. Today was the breaking point. I showed up to my unit, which I am CURRENT on (and even have a full month paid ahead in the app), and they had changed my locks without notice or permission. My belongings are inside, and I was completely locked out. That is unacceptable. On top of that, management has been consistently rude and unhelpful, and I’ve heard multiple reports of burglaries here. There’s a clear lack of professionalism and basic respect for customers. I’m already in the process of moving my belongings to a different facility—and the difference is night and day. I wish I had left sooner. If they don’t fix this immediately, I will be taking legal action. Do yourself a favor: stay far away from this place. There are better, safer, and more honest options out there. This business operates in a way that feels completely predatory. God bless.

  Worst storage units i have ever had the displeasure of storing anything in. They have had break ins. The walls are paper thin between units so they just cut through the wall to get into your unit! They are also very shady with pricing! Your rates will double from one month to the next. Started at $40 a month and less than a year later and we are already at $132 a month. The increasing price will be at random and sometimes they just outright double your rent from one month to the next. If you value an honest business that isn't trying to get you into the door so that they can rake you over the coals, take your business elsewhere.

  I had my entire household of furniture and belongings in storage in two units with Extra Space Mount Lake Terrace for two years. Rose was wonderful to work with. She truly tried to help me keep prices in check and worked as an advocate for me. I just moved everything out of my storage units and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the units were. There were no obvious spider webs or dust bunnies floating around. The storage facility truly seems to be kept clean which is really nice. The only negative was that sometimes the door to the facility would break and NOT close which was a bit worrisome, but management always seemed to fix it. I recommend this location and was very happy with my experience.
