  Our current recliners have been needing replacement for a while. We stopped in at a high end designer store in Bellevue first and then went to LZB in Issaquah. We were greeted promptly and guided around the store to various models that fit our tastes. We ended up ordering two chairs for the price of one at the high end store. Plus the design and features were a better match for what we needed.

  I've had a horrible experience with lazy boy. I purchased a huge sofa sectional off the floor. The sofa was delivered, but oddly the sofa hooks that hold all the pieces together were mismatched and could not connect. Obviously I did not know that when we purchased it, I'm not sure if the sales people did either? Regardless, I was sold a huge sofa sectional, but it does not hook together so the pieces separate if you sit on it wrong – like too close to the cracks. It has been an incredible challenge to get them to please come up and fix this problem. All I need them to do is replace one hook part to fit the other hook part. It's been almost a month and a half. And I am still waiting. You must work with their care team – so difficult to get through, once you do you get told that you have to wait for another phone call from somebody else (but twice never happened until I called him again) to schedule another appointment for a Zoom call, after which you wait for a phone call (never happened until I called them) only to hear it'll be another week plus for somebody to come out "sometime within three hour timeframe". Everything takes weeks and weeks simply to get somebody to come fix a sofa so it hooks together- This was their mistake, not mine.Again, when it doesn't hook together, the sofa separates out, and the guest falls through the crack onto the floor. It has happened now twice in our home. It's very embarrassing and really a safety issue. I would've thought since La-Z-Boy sold us this problem, they would put us in a priority position to get it fixed right away. That has not been the case. My opinion now is for the money it cost to purchase a La-Z-Boy piece of furniture, I would look somewhere else. The customer care side of things is a huge disappointment. And after talking to a supervisor the other day, I was clear I was going to make this post because I don't want somebody else to go through this and she made it clear theres no other options. So before somebody purchases from La-Z-Boy, they must realize if something goes wrong, Lazy Boy will not fix it without extensive protocol steps that could take almost 2 months. Not worth it.
