  While enjoy craft stores I have decided to shop to the one closer to my residence. Why? I noticed that the one closer to my residence has many items priced at 50% lower than what this location lists them at. I have popped into other stores and noticed prices are different in every town. If the company feels that a town has money they'll charge more for the same or similar item. This isn't right. I will stop shopping here. I did not realize how small this location is compared to other locations I usually shop at. The parking lot is tight and I'd rather have someone take two spots than block the road. Unless you're here all day they don't really patrol this lot. I use this lot as a squatting lot if I have time between appointments because I can feel comfortable without getting the please move along pushing.

  Yesterday I went to this Hobby lobby with my grandma. We picked up some Valentine's Day decor, some candy, and a stuffed animal. Initially, I was going to purchase the stuffed animal on my own because I wanted it for myself. When we got to the register, I realized that my ability to tap pay wasn't looking so good. I confirmed with the cashier by asking "You guys don't take tap do you?" Her response was a blank face and (along the lines of) "no just chip insert, are you afraid your card isn't going to work?" I see absolutely no reason for this question to be asked. I was just about to use my tap pay and pay the same price with a virtual version of the same card. There's no excuse for a question like this. I know Hobby lobby has been known to have a terrible moral compass on the corporate level, but experiencing this disheartening situation firsthand definitely made me realize these are not stores I'm welcome in as a human being. Got the cutest little stuffed cow that will now remind me that I'll never shop at Hobby lobby again. As a crafty and creative girl, this pisses me off so much. But it makes me much more sad on a basic human rights level. If this reaches management… The cashier was working at the returns / help stand (one of maybe two open at the time) and this transaction would have been about 4:26 pm. Blonde, white, looked to be 60 but probably just a bad 40s.
