I came in to return a product I purchased online two weeks ago — a product that *malfunctioned and caused me personal injury*. When I explained this at customer service, I was told the return window was *only 48 hours*. That is completely absurd and something I have NEVER heard of from any retailer. Even the order confirmation email clearly stated that **all items except appliances are returnable within 30 days with a receipt**. When I escalated the issue, the store manager, **Dustin Pursley**, came over. Instead of helping resolve a safety-related issue or even showing basic customer service skills, he immediately shut me down with, “No, nothing I can do.” No explanation, no effort, nothing. Then, unbelievably, he **threatened to kick me out of the store — in front of my 5-year-old daughter**. This is completely unacceptable behavior from any employee, let alone a store manager. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic understanding of Lowe’s own stated return policy is shocking. I left the store with no resolution, an unsafe product, and a child who witnessed a manager escalating a situation instead of helping. I will not be returning to this location and will be seriously reconsidering whether I ever shop at Lowe’s again. This store desperately needs training on customer service, safety concerns, and appropriate leadership conduct.

    During the summertime I bought a 5 hook wall mounted coat rack with a shelf and during that time period my house was going under a remodeling project. Fast forward 80 days or so after I purchased the hooks, my husband finally got around to installing it only to find out they missed supplying one hook. I went back to the store only to find out I could not exchange the item even though they had quite a few in stock in the store. When I was forced to return the item, I asked the return customer service rep if they would guarantee the price if it were somehow higher, especially after the start of tariffs on imported goods, and she proceeded to tell me I could ask the cashier when purchasing a new one. Unfortunately, the cashier's manager would not allow me to buy it at the price I paid which was about $25 difference. First off, it wasn't my fault the manufacturer didn't give me enough hooks and I returned the item before 90 days as stated on my receipt. Not sure why I was being penalized for something that wasn't my fault. I was not going to pay $92 for a coat rack which was the going price. After this encounter I will hesitate spending any money for my next remodeling project at Lowes. This was my second horrible return experience within two months, the other I ended up waiting 30 minutes to get someone to help me do a return. Staff more people there throughout the entire day. Return reps were slow and had to deal with a lot of unhappy customers. The only good thing about this store is their ample parking, because there are a lack of customers that visit this store. Interestingly enough, Home Depot's parking lot is always full and they have great service. Never have I ever had to wait more than 5 minutes to return anything there. Skip this place. Ace's Hardware is opening in Sammamish which will make competition even better for me.

    Oh boy. DO NOT GO TO THE CABINET DEPT. My husband and I purchased Pacific Crest Cabinets at the Issaquah Lowes and wanted to get more information on touch up paint and repairs to our cabinets.. already installed. The middle aged guy working there wouldn't even lift his head to look at me or answer my questions. Just kept looking in his computer like I wasn't worth 2 seconds of his time. I just sort of walked away. We went to talk to the manager about this guy and told him it was the worst service we have ever had. I hope this guy moves to another department. He should never work with customers!
