Alec did a great job selling the product as he went door-to-door. Very polite guy who was knowledgeable about the services he wanted to offer. Company has awards for eco-friendly pest control. I saw the reviews with the cancellation problems and had him write it into the contract, so I decided to give them a chance. Services were thorough and techs came out less than an hour after he signed me up. They come out bimonthly instead of quarterly, which is a help because my previous company didn’t do that and the effectiveness of the spray usually ran out early.

The contractor performed the work that was agreed to. My concern is around their communication failures, particularly failure to note tenant occupancy and failure to note property manager contacts.
Between arriving prior to our scheduled window and disturbing tenants, to texting that they would go inside - when inside work was not agreed to - potentially violating Tacoma’s tenant landlord laws around notice, to texting me altogether instead of my property manager as I noted upon scheduling, dealing with tenant matters requiring real time response - became a stressful experience instead of helpful one.
I called to share this feedback. They said they would call me back around it - it’s been three weeks and I have not received a call.
The service was performed - and so far, so good. But if communication is important to you, or if you’re a landlord, be wary of this.

The tech was polite and communicative. Been using Aptive for almost a year. Service has always been professional and courteous. Treatment seems to be mostly effective. Still get the random spider and stink bug inside and ants on the outside but they'll treat specially for those if you call and mention it.

My family was just waking up when Dakota arrived and he was super flexible and offered to go to another job and come back later so we could have breakfast before he sprayed inside like we had requested. Super personable, professional, educated me on what to expect for our issue and took care of business. Was really happy with the service he provided. .

What a scam, you got me. The sales guy explained to me what your service would be and walked me through told me you would spray a barrier around the foundation, inside the garage, around the fence line, around out buildings, windows, doors, and eves and so on. The tech came out filled a bucket with a bag roughly 24oz of granules spend 15 mins around the house told me he was done and said he just spred the granules in spots that he thought bugs would come in the yard and thats it. 200 bucks and a 12 month contract to dust some weeds. I would not recommend the service. I got robbed and regret doing business with your Co. 1400 bucks for what.
