  They love raising your rent for your unit. They've raised mine twice in LESS than a year, $50-60 each time (if you look at other review, sometimes they double yours). When I started out with my unit originally I was being charged about $50, now they want $150. Plus they have mice/rats. Avoid renting here, overpriced. Can't wait to move my stuff out ASAP!

  I stopped in just to get information, but Angel completely sold me on becoming a customer. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Her great attitude and excellent customer service made the whole process easy. Thanks to Angel, I’m glad I chose this place! 😊

  Lights are out in the facility which make it difficult to see what’s being placed in the storage unit. They say they have vendors coming to fix with no ETA. It would be nice if they can provide a portable light to use in the meantime or mention that prior to renting out the unit. I don’t understand why maintenance is not a priority at this location.

  I had such a great experience at this storage facility, and Angel was the reason why. She went above and beyond to explain everything, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. It’s rare to find customer service this genuine and helpful. Highly recommend—ask for Angel!

  Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally notify you that on February 22, 2026, at approximately 11:45 a.m., I arrived at your Extra Space Storage facility located at 33620 21st Ave SW, Federal Way, WA 98023, in order to access my rented storage unit No. 4204. Upon arrival, I discovered that a standard administrative lock had been installed on the door of unit No. 4204 and had not been removed, despite the fact that it should have been. As a result, I was unable to access my storage unit, notwithstanding the existence of an active and valid rental agreement. This situation occurred through no fault of my own. Because I had significant pre-planned commitments immediately afterward, and because I was transporting an electric scooter without its battery installed, I had an urgent need to secure the scooter. Due to the inability to access unit No. 4204, I was forced to leave the scooter next to storage unit No. 4204, after placing an identification sticker marked “4204” on it to clearly indicate ownership and association with my unit. Please be advised that: - I bear no responsibility for the forced placement of the scooter outside the unit; - if the scooter is stolen, damaged, or otherwise affected in any negative way, I will pursue recovery of damages through legal action against the owners and/or management of your company; - the value of the scooter is $1,500 (one thousand five hundred U.S. dollars), and I can provide the purchase receipt upon request. At the same time, I hereby authorize you to: - access storage unit No. 4204 at any time; - remove the administrative lock currently installed; - place my scooter inside storage unit No. 4204 prior to my arrival. I confirm that tomorrow after work I will personally return to the facility and install my own lock on the door of unit No. 4204. Additionally, please note that neither your website nor your mobile application provides an email address or any other direct written channel through which I could submit this notice or formally document this issue. As a result, and in order to properly record this incident, I have posted this message via Google Maps as the only available written communication channel accessible at this time. Please ensure that this notice is properly recorded and that corrective action is taken without delay. Sincerely, Egor Redin
