You enter info at the kiosk and it examines the key and then sends the information off. It took about 4 days to receive my key, but if you can wait for the key it's a hassle-free process and the end product worked for me. I knock off a star because they're not very transparent about pricing at the kiosk, you basically have to go through the process before you're shown a price. On the upside, there's no having to page the guy at the hardware store and wait for him to be available. On balance, I'll probably use KeyMe again.

I paid 80 dollars for these guys to come out and in 10 minutes tell me they can't pick the lock but I can pay them to bring it to their location to drill it out. So take that for what it's worth. I dunno. I pried it open for free instead.
