Bulldog Landscaping provides hardscaping, landscape design, irrigation systems, landscape lighting, and property cleanups to the Whatcom County, WA area.
Bulldog Landscaping is outstanding. I've hired them several times to prepare properties for sale. They are professional, don't try to overcharge you, communicate with you during the work, and, most importantly, deliver excellent results. Last November, I needed a job completed within five days during heavy rain. The crew arrived and finished despite the downpour. In January 2022, a client needed some masonry, stairs, and irrigation installed before closing. Despite it raining and snowing the entire time they were working, they completed everything before the closing date, and the results look fantastic. Appreciate all the hard work they are willing to put in.

Bulldog's teams did a wonderful job-- in both constructing realistic looking stone slabs to create steps, and installing them in my yard.
Highly recommend them for any landscaping needs.

I had researched companies for driveway repairs and landed on Bulldog Landscaping. They reached out to me quickly and came by for an estimate the next day. I asked for recalculations of the estimate which they happily did. At this time, my family is not quite ready for our driveway renovation but we look forward to Bulldog Landscaping services in our future. And after looking at their website I see they do so much more than just driveways there is potential for their help on other planned projects. It should be easy to find good help. They did just that.

I had Dawson out to estimate putting in 150 foot fence and a 35x15 parking pad. Dawson showed up ontime, listened to my requests, asked appropriate questions to clarify project. He took plenty of pictures and I felt he understood what I wanted. Dawson's estimates were inline with other estimates I received.
Dawson's crew put in the fence including an RV gate spanding 12 feet. The fence is strait the lumber clean. The 2nd job I hired them for was putting in a parking pad outlined by RR ties. They did an excelent job sqaring and leveling the pad with a 5/8inch crushed backfill.
I look forward to hiring them again.

Crushed rock vs gravel driveway—which is better?
Crushed rock is generally the better choice for driveways because its sharp, angular edges interlock, forming a firm, stable surface. Rounded gravel stones shift more easily, which can lead to ruts and higher maintenance needs.
How does a geotextile fabric driveway work?
Geotextile fabric is placed beneath the driveway materials to keep soil and rock from mixing while allowing water to drain through. This reduces sinking, rutting, and muddy spots over time.
What is driveway base repair?
Driveway base repair strengthens or rebuilds the underlying foundation layer. By fixing the base, it helps prevent ongoing issues like potholes and surface breakdown.
What is quarry spall driveway repair?
Quarry spall driveway repair involves placing large, crushed stones in weak or unstable areas. These stones improve drainage and provide strong support for heavy loads.
What is driveway crowning repair?
Driveway crowning repair reshapes the surface, so the center is slightly elevated. This design directs water toward the sides, helping prevent erosion and water damage.
How does a French drain driveway work?
A French drain uses a trench filled with gravel and a perforated pipe to carry water away from the driveway. This helps eliminate standing water, washouts, and damage to the driveway base.
