We're offering safe Alterations services for your convenience. During your in-store Alterations appointment, you can expect a safe environment where a mask is provided to you. Alterations employees will also be staying safe in both a mask and gloves. We'll take precautions such as increased sanitization in fitting rooms. If you had alterations being completed before our store closures and your completed garments are ready for pickup, we'll reach out to coordinate complimentary shipping of items directly to you. If safe Contactless Curbside Pickup is available at your store, you can choose to pick up completed garments via this method or have them shipped to you.

- SASultan AJun 12, 20252.0Extremely Disappointed – Alterations Ruined My New Pants I brought in a brand new pair of chino pants for a simple hemming job. When I picked them up, they were still the same length as when I dropped them off — no alteration had been done. I returned to the store, got refitted, and left the pants again for a second attempt. This time, when I picked them up, they had been hemmed far too short — and to make matters worse, the legs were uneven. I was shocked. At that point, I didn’t have the energy to go through the process a third time. I just left the store, deeply disappointed. The pants are now ruined and I’ll need to buy a new pair. What should have been a routine alteration turned into a total disaster. I wish I had read the reviews before trusting Nordstrom Alterations. Nordstrom used to be known for high quality and attention to detail, but that was not my experience.
- TÖzge TerzioğluJul 9, 20241.0Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time. I went in to get alterations done on a dress that is too long in the waist and was exposing my bra. I show up at 6:30 (I made an online appointment for that time.) at the front desk, Grace tells me that Oksana (the person my appointment is with) was helping customers but she could help me in the meantime. I say ok. I put the dress on and tell her what I needed done and she said it’s not possible. I say fine. She gets Oksana for a second opinion (10 minutes later she’s free however my appointment was at 6:30 so it doesn’t make sense how she wasn’t available for an appointment that was made in advance). She also tells me it would be too much work to fix and I should “find a special bra.” This is hilarious because, I already tried! And I couldn’t find the right bra for my large chest! That’s why I resorted to altering the dress, how is that not understood? Seems like they only want to deal with quick hemming and anything else an actual qualified tailor can do requires too much expertise. Thanks for absolutely nothing and being late to my appointment as well. Edit: I don't think you actually take in any feedback given you continue to receive negative reviews. Y'all do not deserve the title of being tailors, given you refuse to do real alteration work.
