  I walked in to speak to someone about purchasing a unit, and while it was slightly out of my price range, Kris was most helpful and was kind and friendly. 10/10 would recommend this place just for the helpful and pleasant experience that Kris provided me.

  Two things, these people are so rude in person and over the phone. & my unit price went up almost double than what I originally got it for, went up in 4 months at that. From $56 to $96 AND my unit isnt even the actual size that its supposed to be so they tell me "approximately" this is the rudest storage place I've ever encountered. Scam & rude. I most definitely will be leaving VERY SOON and never will return to an Extra Space Storage again.

  $89 for first 3 months 4th $130 pisses me off they do this, so I'm done before it's $179 then $229. I asked the lady if they were gonna raise the rent and she said there will be a small increase after 6 months. Should have got that in writing.

  If I could give zero stars I would. Most people are stating that they have had nothing but great customer service or righteous pricing, but I am here to tell you that this is far from what I have experienced with them. My father has been in the hospital for a month and just recently got released (within the past week), he has been struggling and so has the family. I am his caretaker, so my paycheck was cut completely this month due to the unexpected circumstances. Not only that, but my wife had her paycheck pushed back as well, due to a company wide issue regarding payroll. We DID NOT EXPECT THIS. AND we have been on time with payments for the past year and a half. Always on time. My wife spoke to Sarah on the 21st, asking if they could at the very least wait until we received our paycheck on the 27th, she never told us we would accrue a late fee and she said she would put it in the books that we needed the extra time. However, 3 days later on Christmas Eve of all days, the Manager calls and gives us an ultimatum that we have until the day after Christmas to pay in full or they serve us with late fees, on top of a price hike for the unit. We were paying $209/month last month, just for it to get shot to $244 this month and then $299 after the fees. Not only did they not give us grace, they basically stacked another $100 dollars onto our bill, changed our code and switched the locks. Being on the phone with the manager was eye opening as well.. He was callous, spoke over us the whole time and hung up on us... What kind of customer service is that?? The lack of humanity, customer service and professionalism was astonishing and I will NEVER return to any Extra Space Storage again, I will shout from the rooftops to avoid this place and will tell anyone who will listen about this as well, because what if you run into an unlucky week? You'd be in the same position as us, wondering why they could not work with you FOR A DAY. Something fishy is going on here... And the BBB should be involved. Ridiculous. 0/10

  They will just continued to raise your rates every 2-4 months. Have been there a little over a year. Have seen 4 increases, constant mold issues, amongst many other minor annoyances. You can get a better deal elsewhere for nicer more well maintained units. Don’t fall for the initial low price like I did.
