I had a really great experience with this storage facility. It offers a large amount of space, and everything is very clean and well organized. One thing I really appreciated is that they provide carts for free, which saves a lot of time and effort instead of carrying boxes by hand. Depending on the size, you can fit up to six Lowe’s heavy-duty boxes stacked high enough to fit through the doorway. The entire facility has wide areas that make moving items easy and convenient. The security is also excellent, with plenty of cameras, so you don’t have to worry about your belongings. I truly recommend this storage place and would give it a 10/10 compared to most other storage facilities.

i can give it zero stars i would. they rank up the prices and add extra fees . its it's ridiculous that it went from $59 to $79 to now paying $144. And they keep raising the prices for the units without even notifying you. Unfortunately, I got behind on my bill and when i went to check my the past due and this month due which is what the total was $288 including late fees & now randomly theres $120 extra charge . what the hell... they don't even wanna work with you making no payments you have to give the full balance. they are rude to customers as well. if you looking for a storage unit look elsewhere. dont know fall for their special deals or you will rank up a high bill within a month

Formal Complaint Regarding Discriminatory Treatment and Unprofessional Conduct. To whom it may concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Extra Space Storage located in Auburn regarding a humiliating, discriminatory, and highly unprofessional experience that my husband and I had at your Auburn location. The incident occurred today when my husband arrived at the facility before me and parked in the company parking lot to wait for my arrival, as I was driving to meet him so we could rent a storage unit together. While my husband was sitting inside the vehicle sending me a text message, a woman approached him abruptly and aggressively, asking who he was, what he was doing there, and why he had parked in the area, as if it were her personal property. My husband respectfully responded that he was waiting for his wife so that we could enter together to rent a storage unit. Without identifying herself as an employee (as she was not wearing a uniform or any visible identification), the woman continued questioning him and began making offensive comments about his clothing, stating that “he looked like shit.” My husband was wearing a clean work hoodie with his company’s logo on it and appropriate casual clothing. The employee herself was also dressed casually. Due to her hostile attitude and failure to identify herself as staff, my husband told her that he did not wish to continue the conversation. When I arrived at the location with my three children in my vehicle, my husband explained what had happened. I entered the property (which was locked, according to them, for security reasons) and calmly asked the employee what the issue was with my husband’s clothing. I stated that I was unaware that formal attire was required to rent a storage unit. The employee began speaking slowly and completely denied what had occurred. She then attempted to justify her behavior by saying that she “just wanted to know who he was because you never know” and that the Auburn area is “very bad.” She also mentioned that there had recently been a shooting in the area and that she had a baby to take care of. At that point, I felt deeply offended, as her comments strongly implied that my husband was a threat based solely on his appearance. I responded that we are not that type of people and that I also had three children waiting in my car outside. Another employee named Juddie intervened and told the woman to stop talking and step outside the employee area. I explained what had happened again, expecting a solution or at least an apology. Instead, I was told that she was not part of the conversation, that she did not know what had happened, and that she did not care because she was on her lunch break. I then asked to speak with the manager to formally address the situation, and I was informed that the same individual involved in the incident was the manager. I left the establishment feeling extremely sad, frustrated, and disappointed. Never before have I felt discriminated against in this country. We went there with the sole intention of renting a storage unit and were treated as if we were criminals simply because of the way we were dressed. I believe this experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism, proper customer service training, and cultural sensitivity. I respectfully request that this incident be thoroughly investigated and that appropriate action be taken to ensure that no other family experiences similar treatment.
