    I will never order from Lowes again. Couldn’t be more dissatisfied by the Essex VT Lowe’s customer service and the multiple managers on duty. The last being Travis who apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Reporting it was “OneRail” and if they didn’t deliver the order then they get to keep it. (Absolutely ridiculous) I placed an online order on 12/19/25 with delivery scheduled for 12/20/25. Each day from 12/20-12/24 the delivery date changed to the following day. Called the Essex Lowe’s customer service multiple days, each time being told my order would arrive that day. It never arrived! There was no resolution or compensation for 5 days of waiting, calling, requesting help for missing order. Never received order. Every day the tracking just kept changing the date. No help, just a different excuse each day. Never got a full refund.

    I purchased a brand new washer paid for delivery and installation. It was basically dropped off hooked up. No book on how to run. I called and asked for help. The associate was very rude made me feel stupid and it has been running for 4 hours and won't stop

    Won the black Friday appliance (from Shelburne road, but my appliance was delivered from at the Essex Lowe's) It had gotten rescheduled twice, first time being because the truck broke down on its way here. Was told I'd get it Monday, called Monday and they hadn't actually scheduled it, and they did the manager override for delivery today. Actually got it today, they didn't call before arriving, I had to ask the delivery people at Lowe's multiple times when It would arrive. Not the worst delivery experience but not the best, they were in the delivery window.

    The customer service at the Essex store would need to improve dramatically just to be pathetic. We purchased a new toilet on Lowes.com, and got a notification when it came in. My wife went down to pick it up, and the box they brought out had tape on it that said "DAMAGED." She could actually hear the broken pieces rolling around inside the box. The worker then asked if she wanted the half that wasn't broken. HUH?? So, then we waited for a replacement for more than a month. Zero communication from Lowes about the status. I called at least three times and all I got was a lot of excuses that it was out of their control because of "the vendor." They actually invited me to call the vendor and deal with them myself. I don't think Lowe's understand what the words "customer service" means. Look, items arrive broken sometimes. I get it. But the lack of communication or any follow through to make sure I got the item I paid for -- that's inexcusable. And to the Lowe's team -- don't bother posting your templated, insincere response to this review inviting me to contact you. You've had plenty of opportunities to contact ME and demonstrate that you care. You don't. Keep your phony response to yourself, thanks.

    We had ordered a shower base, walls and back from the S. Burlington Lowes- paid $80 for delivery. We got a base delivered and that was it. Upon calling the S.B. Lowes they told us they had it marked as 'walk out' but we did not take the product and told them that which they realized quickly because they sold us "negative stock". The person assisting us, Jack, said he would call around and see if he could locate the other pieces and call us back. Did Jack call us back? No, sir, no he did not. We pop into the Essex Lowes and Zach and Isaiah were around and offered to help us find the pieces we had purchased and behold there they sat on the shelf. This was hours after we were told we would get a call back from Jack in S.B. After explaining what happened we ended up talking to Mike, the assistant manager, and he was amazing. He was able to help us out, even after we opened the base that WAS delivered to us and we found out it was the wrong base (insert facepalm and deep sigh here). All items were refunded, including the delivery fee, and he helped us purchase all the items we needed right then and there. Special shout out to Ameera and Laurie for having to listen to this saga and be willing to stay engaged to get us the help we needed. Will only be shopping at this location going forward.
