After 2 months of dealing with multiple issues I am convinced Tempur-Pedic's strategy is to deny and delay your claims and hope you forget about them. We were excited to buy a new mattress and base. On delivery, one of the legs on the base was broken. The delivery crew took pictures, called their boss, and said they got it approved for an exchange. Then, we heard nothing. 2 days later we call the store, and they "hadn't heard about it." It took another week and multiple phone calls to get them to agree to exchange the base. They never acknowledged that their delivery crew had reported it broken immediately. The mattress itself was terrible - way harder than the demo they had in the store. We kept it for 5 weeks, tried walking on it to loosen it up as they suggested, but it was never close to the demos in the store. After 5 weeks, we called to return it. It was 32 days from when I did the "return" until they refunded our money. Over that time, there were several missed dead lines, phone calls, emails, and visits to the store. I 100% believe that if we hadn't kept going into the store they never would have processed the refund. The store employees actually threatened me to stop coming in, with one of them telling me, "my son is a Navy SEAL and I'm going to tell him about you." I will never set foot in this store again.
Frequently Asked Questions About Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store
Can I use my current frame with my Tempur-Pedic Mattress?
Yes. We design our mattresses to fit most standard size bed furniture and frames.
Unless your product was not designed for the U.S. market, or is an unusual size, our mattresses should fit.
If you have any question about whether a Tempur-Pedic mattress will fit your bed or furniture frame, we recommend that you refer to the specific product dimensions.
If you choose not to purchase our foundation, you must position the mattress on a completely flat, solid surface with adequate center support.
If you have a slatted foundation, we recommend using slats that are at least 3 inches wide and are no more than 4 inches apart.
Please note that using the mattress without a Tempur-Pedic foundation or similar firm, solid-surface, non-spring base may void the warranty.
How does my new mattress arrive?
With the exception of our TEMPUR-Cloud, select mattresses arrive with White Glove delivery. With our free White Glove delivery, your mattress will arrive in a plastic covering which will be removed upon delivery for set up.
The TEMPUR-Cloud is a convenient option at a lower price that ships to your door compressed in a bag for you to set up on your own time. This design makes the TEMPUR-Cloud great for those who have narrow hallways or doorways, live in apartments, or want to have a contact-free delivery! The TEMPUR-Cloud does not receive our White Glove delivery as it is shipped via UPS. This means that it will be delivered to your door and removal of your old mattress is not available.
What is the difference between Medium & Medium Hybrid in feel?
Tempur-Pedic’s hybrids are like no other, because our innovative coil system works in combination with one-of-a-kind TEMPUR® Material to deliver unmatched pressure relief and support — plus, a more “responsive” feel from the premium coils that sleepers may prefer. This makes our hybrids a perfect introduction to Tempur-Pedic (and a welcome upgrade!) if you’ve only slept on traditional spring mattresses in the past.
While our hybrid mattress options are best described as “medium,” they’re created a bit differently than our other medium-feel mattresses. Our non-hybrid mattresses are constructed entirely of our legendary TEMPUR® materials (placed on top of a foam base layer), while our Medium Hybrid options contain a 1000+ coil system to provide all the pressure relief and support you expect from a Tempur-Pedic mattress — with the added “bounce” from the coils.
Another difference? Our Medium Hybrid mattresses are created using our softest material available, TEMPUR-ES™, so our hybrids tend to feel slightly softer than our Medium, non-hybrid options. If a hybrid is starting to sound like a great fit, you can choose between our TEMPUR-Adapt®, TEMPUR-ProAdapt®, and TEMPUR-PRObreeze° models. Do you have replacement covers for mattresses?
Yes, we do, for any of our mattresses with a removable cover. You can order replacement covers for our current mattress models online here. If you need the cover for an older mattress or you don't see your mattress listed, you can talk to one of our Sleep Guides in the store to help you find yours.
