- ATAlice ThomasMar 25, 20261.0We purchased a Husqvarna chainsaw two weeks ago my husband who understands lawn equipment could not get it to crank on. It has never been used and never cut on. I went to exchange it or see if someone could at least start it up and I was told even though it has not been used, it could not be exchanged and that I had to call Husqvarna myself to start an RA claim. I thought that RA claims and returned to vendor situations were handled by the retailer who sold you the product. This is the Lowe’s we always go to, and I am so very disappointed that the manager could not come out to see that we had never even used it and just wanted to exchange it. I understand the policy that a lot of people will use lawn equipment only to return it days later, but it was no our case. We had never used it and just wanted a replacement because it would not even turn on.

So you have to purchase item twice while you wait 7-10 days for a return to clear. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard from a box store. Put it on the consumer to eat the cost while the kissing cousins in tappahannok lowes continue to drool on the counter.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase.
