I went in on 02/10/2026 before Lowe’s was closing for the night and Mr. David walked me through all of the blind options and provided valuable information on the benefits of each blind/brand. Thank you tremendously for your amazing customer service, definitely 10/10. Please recognized this man for his amazing work.

I’m not one to write complaints, but this interaction needs attention.. During our recent visit to the Lowe’s location on Main Street in Suffolk, VA, we had an extremely inappropriate and unacceptable experience with the customer sales manager, Lisa Beachboard. What should have been a straightforward conversation regarding a cabinet purchase instead became an encounter marked by rudeness, dismissiveness, and a complete disregard for basic standards of customer service. My husband and my father were in the store inquiring about cabinets for a home project we are actively working to complete. One of the cabinets in question was damaged, and my husband reasonably asked whether a discount could be applied so that the cost savings could be used to repair the damage. The intent was not to avoid paying, but rather to still purchase the cabinet and then buy the necessary materials in-store during the same visit to complete the repairs. Ms. Beachboard offered only a 10% discount and conducted herself in a consistently rude and condescending manner throughout the interaction. When my husband explained that the cost of repairing the cabinet would exceed the discount she was willing to provide, and reiterated that he was simply asking for enough of an adjustment to offset the repair costs, her response was wholly unprofessional. She stated that she *could* offer a higher discount but “wasn’t going to,” and bluntly told them to “take it or leave it.” Her behavior escalated further when she told my father that if he was unhappy, he should “just go to Home Depot.” For a manager to direct a customer to a competitor rather than attempt to resolve a legitimate concern is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. Her tone and conduct toward both my husband and my father were disrespectful and inappropriate. This type of interaction is unacceptable in any retail environment, particularly from someone in a management position. It reflects poorly on Lowe’s as a company and falls far short of the level of customer service one would expect from a national home improvement retailer. Our family has spent a significant amount of money at Lowe’s over the years on home improvement and DIY projects. To be treated in this manner was not only disheartening but deeply frustrating. An employee who speaks to customers this way is a liability to the brand, not a representative of it. As a direct result of this experience, we are seriously reconsidering whether we will continue to do business with Lowe’s at all. This matter is serious, and I fully intend to escalate it until it is appropriately addressed. No customer should be spoken to or dismissed in the manner we experienced, and this conduct should not be tolerated by Lowe’s leadership.
