  This was my first lazy boy recliner sofa. The buying experience was great and being able to see all the options at the showroom was extremely helpful. Ordering and delivery went smoothly. But after that things went downhill. This was the smelliest sofa I have ever purchased. The smell of the composite wood that they used for the frame was overpowering and filled up my house for weeks. Even though it was 30 degrees outside I had to keep opening windows everyday to eliminate the off gassing smells from my house, and I had to run multiple air purifiers and place various odor absorbing containers around the sofa. It is now 6 weeks later and finally most of the odors have dissipated to a level where it is no longer nauseating. I don't know what kind of cheap composite wood with nasty chemicals they are using but I probably will never buy a lazy boy again. I have never experienced this level of stink with any other sofa I have purchased in the last 40 years. If I hadn't customized it, I would definitely have returned it and taken the 30% hit. So buyer beware. Customer service said 2-3 days of off gassing is normal. This was definitely not the case with the one I bought.

  Karen was very helpful in guiding us to the right recliner we were looking for. She gave us ample time and space to try out as many as we needed, checking on our progress periodically (not too frequently or infrequently that we felt forgotten about) to see where we were in the process and what questions we had, if any. Overall very pleasant experience and we are looking forward to our new furniture.

  I only have work with the sales people and waiting for delivery of my new sofa. The sales person, Jessie, at the Sterling VA store was very helpful, professional and friendly.

  We purchased our furniture at the Sterling, Va. store. We drove over from another county because the staff is so wonderful. Hector and Jesse are so pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. If you did not have a good experience at a different La-Z-Boy store, try this location. It would was a completely different vibe from some of the other locations. Definitely worth going a little out of your way…..

  From the moment we walked into the store till the moment we left, the ease and professionalism of Karen O was impressive. Karen provided guidance and suggestions along with recommendations without being over bearing or even pitching a sale. The entire engagement was pleasant. We finalized everyone after one day of thinking about it. Thank you!
