We'll help you load your vehicle. Pick up a pallet of our Tall Fescue or Kentucky Bluegrass turf at our office, or let us deliver it to your home (minimum amount required). Chantilly Turf Farms, Inc. (CTF) has been growing and marketing quality sod to the Washington Metro area for 41 years. Started in 1970, Chantilly Turf Farms, Inc. has provided sod to the Federal Government, Universities, schools and residential communities. We particularly like providing sod to private homeowners because of the attention they give to their new lawn. Chantilly Turf Farms, Inc. grows two types of grass: A mixture of tall fescue and bluegrass and a single variety of 100 percent bluegrass. The Universities of Virginia and Maryland have determined that the fescue mixture is the best suited for the North Piedmont region. The bluegrass is just as attractive, but requires a little different maintenance. Our sod is grown from "certified" seed. The seeds are subjected to rigid testing both at their origination and at our farm fields. This insures their purity of kind, their germination rate and the absence of weed seeds. Seeds that don't measure up to required standards are rejected. Home owners and contractors can come to our office location and pick up however much sod you need, no matter how big or small. Chantilly Turf Farms, Inc. can also bring orders to your office location for your convenience. Mulch works to protect your plants and flowers all year long. When you purchase our quality mulch products, you'll also benefit from added beauty. Choose mulch that fits all of your needs. You can stop into the farm to pick up the mulch you need whenever we're open. You'll always get outstanding rates, including as a property owner and as a contractor. We sell the same seed we use in our sod production to the public. You can purchase small bags of this seed mixture to use as a patch for small areas of your lawn as needed. We sell larger bags for those who need to thicken up to their lawn. It's important to grow your seed properly.
