    Went to pick up a Carbonmonoxide detector my daughter in NJ ordered for me and the process was very easy for both of us. Easy for her to find the nearest store here in Virginia and for me to run over to pick it up a few minutes later. The whole process was convenient and manageable being in different states.

    The people who delivered our washing damaged our door and did not return an item that was left in the washer and had a bad attitude. They threw the item in the street.

    I recently paid approximately $800 for washer installation through Lowe’s, and I am beyond disappointed with the service I received. The 3rd-party installers were in and out of my home within 5 minutes. They did not install all of the equipment I ordered, charged me $50 to haul away the old washer, and left the space dirty without giving me the chance to clean the area before dropping the new washer in place. What upset me most was their complete lack of respect. When removing the old washer, they pulled out items my 84-year-old mother could not reach, including her undergarments, and threw them into the middle of the street while rushing to leave, saying they had “29 more installs to do.” That was humiliating and unacceptable. On top of that, they dented the walls and the door trim during removal and installation. These were outsourced workers, not actual Lowe’s staff, and there was zero accountability. For the price I paid, I expected professionalism, care, and quality service—not damage, disrespect, and being rushed through like a number. I am furious and now questioning whether I should cancel my upcoming carpet installation. Lowe’s should ensure that their 3rd-party representatives uphold the standards of the Lowe’s brand. A Lowe’s representative should be present to oversee these installs and guarantee customer satisfaction. This was not the experience I paid for, nor what I expected from Lowe’s.
