  I went to Meadow Farms Nursery today to refresh our front yard's landscaping and I was blessed beyond measure by Alyssa. I was not at all expecting the level of care, service, and intention that she invested in helping me today. She patiently identified the plants in question from my only point of reference (a blurry photo on my phone). Not only did I not know the name, I barely knew if it was a bush or a flowering plant! Then I asked Alyssa for recommendations for plants to fill the landscape on a particular side of our house (again via a photo) and I was BLOWN AWAY! I was expecting a one-word answer but instead she spent the next hour thoughtfully mapping a plan for the space considering sun exposure, plant height, and my color preferences. Her expertise was invaluable and her kindness was everything while guiding me toward beautifying our homes landscape and managing the busy-ness of shopping with two small children. What an incredible experience today was! What a joy and I can't wait to install the rainbow of colors of perennials that our family will enjoy for years to come! Moreover Alyssa, a fellow mom, poured life and hope into my soul while meeting the temporal goal of picking out plants. Thank you so much.

  Not sure exactly how to rate an arboretum, but this place had a good selection of healthy plants and the staff was helpful. What else is there? They had a good selection of the plants i was looking for (creeping thyme, japanese maple, ivy and juniper). Will go again.

  Last April we purchased four maple trees from the Meadows Farms Stafford, VA location and paid extra to have them professionally installed. Two of the trees showed failing limbs almost immediately. We brought photos to the Stafford store and were told to fertilize—no improvement. We were then told to “wait until next spring.” This spring, the same two trees are still struggling. We returned with photos and even performed the “scratch test” they demanded. The staff agreed the trees were in trouble but told us we had to call HQ. After multiple calls, voicemails, and being bounced around departments, we were finally told someone might get back to us in 7–15 days. We paid more at Meadows Farms expecting professionalism and a real warranty. Instead, we got delays, dismissiveness, and a warranty process designed to wear customers down. If I had it to do again, I would have gone to Home Depot or Lowe’s—there, you simply bring the receipt back within a year and get a replacement. No hassle, no runaround. Meadows Farms wasted my time, treated us poorly, and did not stand behind their product. I cannot recommend them.

  I had an outstanding experience working with landscape designer Michael Gentile from Meadows Farms. From the beginning, Mike demonstrated excellent coordination, clear communication, and a thorough understanding of design options for landscaping around my backyard patio, fire pit, and pool area. He took the time to carefully explain each option, ensuring the design matched both my vision and the functionality of the space. The entire process was seamless, well-organized, and positive from start to finish. Mike’s professionalism and attention to detail made planning easy and stress-free, and the installation crew carried that same level of quality and professionalism throughout the project. From the landscape designer to the installation team, Meadows Farms delivered nothing but a positive experience. I highly recommend Meadows Farms to anyone looking for high-quality landscaping services and exceptional customer care.

  I called Meadows Farms on a Thursday afternoon, near tears, to share about my plant babies! Jhana answered, soothed my nerves and encouraged me to bring them in. I came in today (Friday - the next day) and was greeted by Dan and he shared that Jhana would be arriving! I had a nice gentleman bring in my biggest concern. I thought it was a corn plant but Jhana inmediately let me know it was a Dracena plant. Jhana was EXTREMELY PATIENT as I brought in four other plant babies. She shared that they were healthy but needed some care. I took copious notes while she taught me how to notice when a bud has died, washing roots, watering, fettilizer soil and organic orchid mix, pot sizes, sunlight exposure, repotting, and overall patience. She repotted and resoiled 3 of my 5 and trimmed another. Two gentlemen brought my babies back to the car, with care. Just appreciative!! I was nervous that PPS (Plant Protection Services) were gonna be called but I was just overzealous in my choice of pots and no water drainage! May this review bring an abundance of customers! When customer service is at a low, Meadows Farms Nurseries exceeded my expectations. I came in feeling bad and left encouraged, informed and joyful!!! I'll be telling everyone about MFN! Thank you!!
