    I ordered carpet from the Rocky Mount, VA location on Mar 19th. I was primarily drawn to thier lead time for installation. I was confirmed for installation for Apr 6th and was instructed to have all furniture removed for the installer. I arranged and paid $800 for movers to move furniture out on Apr 3rd (the last business day prior to install) and after all furniture was removed, a representative from the installer called me and told me the carpet wasn't available, that they would reschedule the carpet install. They projected an install date between Apr 15th and 21st. I was called back on the 8th by the installer and informed the earliest possible install date was now May 6th. In the interim my kids have been and are sleeping on a hardwood floor and furniture is all over the place in our main living area. Had I been informed prior to the end of the last business day before the install I could have delayed the moving company. I called to request to put the furniture back for the children and for Lowe's to cover the expenses and an associate declined. I asked and was declined the option to speak to any managers on duty at the store location. If this is not resolved and expenses are covered or the install isn't pulled up drastically I will not be doing business with Lowe's in the future and I will be sharing my experience with friends and family so they can avoid being put in the same position.

    Bought lumber, was given same day delivery. That was a joke. The so called delivery is a door dash for construction supplies. I was told I was getting my supplies that day, after 8 pm I got an email saying my delivery date was changed to the next day between 8 am - 8 pm. So now that's 2 days I'm out from completing my project. I called the store 4 times before an actual person answered, just for them to pass the buck of to the 3rd party delivery agency. Come on Lowes, those folks represent your business, don't pass the buck and point fingers. Plain laziness. Just go to Home Depot at least they answer their phones. I hate to even leave one star with the amount of money I am now out for waiting on a delivery by the "door dash" of construction supplies, but the website won't let me post this review unless at least one star is clicked. Absolutely ridiculous. UPDATE........ 4days later, I am STILL waiting on the same day delivery order I placed 4 days ago. Apparently the "door dash of construction supplies" is having a hard time finding someone to deliver the products. Awesome.

    This five star review comes as resolution to a horrible experience at the Rocky Mount Lowe’s. Several weeks ago I had a tremendously disappointing experience inside of the store, not on behalf of the Employees, but on behalf of corporate policies getting in the way of customer fairness. I just so happen to be there on a day that a regional manager was in store, and I ended up speaking with her about the problems I experienced. I assumed that was the end of it. A week later I was contacted by a manager from the Rocky Mount location who listened to what I had to say and asked how they could retain my business. There were a few back-and-forth, but I Eventually landed in the hands of Amber, who was absolutely amazing. Amber immediately recognized the situation, and was equipped and ready to come to resolution immediately. The process was long, and it sometimes quite frustrating, but in the end I was placed into the hands of a customer service representative that genuinely cares about customer service and experience. Lowe’s certainly retained my business, and they did so by acknowledging that they could have done better, listening to me air out my frustration with the entire situation, and then making sure they went above and beyond To find a resolution with me as a customer. Hard to find that these days, especially in a corporation. A shout out to Amber, well done, I hope your regionals read this.
