    Sunday 11/2. Many indoor plants were extremely thirsty. They had one of those little misters sitting on an unattended watering cart. I used what little was left in the mister on the on a tiny dry fern. I went out to garden center to alert employees. There were 3 standing around the register complaining (one on break). I was the only customer in sight, so I walked around for a few minutes waiting for them to finish their conversation, because I didn't want to interrupt. After several minutes, I went to interrupt. I was told the staff who maintains the houseplants was off on Sundays, & the outdoor garden staff are "not allowed" to water indoor plants because they flooded it once. Other than them standing around complaining, they really didn't seem like incompetent staff... it doesnt make sense that they were "not allowed" to use a mister to save the plants, at the very least. That's quite ridiculous. There are going to be many neglected plants put out to discount when the houseplant staff returns.

    Lowe’s is great but Keona is truly the QUEEN of the Lowe’s Garden Center !! She doesn’t just work there; she brings it to life with her vibrant energy, kindness, and expertise. Honestly, she’s the reason I started visiting every day for plants, every time I walked in, she made the experience fun, welcoming, and inspiring. Her energy is unmatched. She has this incredible ability to make every customer feel special. No one else does it quite like her. I genuinely miss seeing Keona at Lowe’s; it just doesn’t feel the same without her around. She’s helped me more than any other employee ever has. She offered me the best advice, took the time to explain what would thrive in my garden, and made sure I left feeling confident. Once, she even drove to my garden after work, walked through it with me, pointed out what colors I was missing, and because of her, I went back and bought even more plants. She even watered the ones I brought home from Lowe’s!… she does these kind acts bc she cares truly even if she’s not paid for it! She’s just too good at what she does. She’s rare, her energy is a need in every business. As a garden center employee, why is she putting in so much effort to boost sales? I literally returned and bought thousands of plants thanks to her guidance. That’s how exceptional she is. Keona isn’t just great at her job, she’s the reason people keep coming back to Lowe’s. She’s going to be a big boss someday!
