  Morgan, was so helpful and friendly! First, she answered my email and reassured me that my 40 year old houseplant was not dying but suggested I bring it in to the potting stand to have it looked at… I had no idea that she is who I would be meeting with when I went to the potting stand a few days later, but to my delight, it was her! Once again, so helpful, friendly, and reassuring!

  This is an adorable and pleasant place for all your gardening needs! They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, and I especially appreciate the section they have set aside for local native species. The area of decorative novelties is a delight to browse through, and walking through the greenhouse is a restorative form of entertainment in itself. Of course I end up picking up plenty of things I didn’t even come for. It’s worth it to skip over the big box stores and opt for a well-curated local gem.

  I have been a loyal shopper since 2022. It truly pains me to say that, of late, the quality and care at the Great Big Greenhouse have declined quite noticeably. On my most recent visit, I approached a small group of workers in hopes of receiving some assistance, but they seemed entirely disinterested and unwilling to help. I must admit, I left feeling rather unwelcome and, quite frankly, alone as though I had been left in the dark without so much as a kind word or guiding hand. At my age, one comes to appreciate simple courtesies, and it was disheartening not to find them. If I had wished to feel ignored and overlooked, I suppose I might try my luck on one of those modern dating apps though I assure you, I have no such intentions, and I daresay it would do me no better there. I do hope this matter is taken to heart, as I have always held your establishment in high regard.

  Today was my first time here at the great big green house I am in love with this place such a large selection of everything and Finn was such a big help so knowledgeable on everything I asked questions about even solutions for some of the plants I currently have I wish every nursery had a Finn thank you so much for making my first experience a memorable one…

  I arrived at GBG last evening around 630, shortly before closing. While I was out searching for plants Tim, a member of the staff there, asked me if he could help me with anything. I apologized for being there so near closing and he said not to worry, to take my time and he would help. He took It upon himself to retrieve and load my cart with several large trees. He also walked me around and showed several additional options for what I was looking for. He also suggested the extended warranty which I am normally skeptical of but it’s really a terrific deal as it includes some mulch, planting mix, and Biotone. I pulled my car over to the loading area and went in and paid. While I was doing that several members of the staff loaded my car and were very careful in using burlap and other protective materials for the car. Overall I cannot say enough good about Tim, the staff, and the plant selection. Highly recommend!
