  I have ordered a recliner. They indicate it'll take 4 to 6 weeks to get. I worked with Steven and Sara who answered all of my questions professionally and allowed me time to sit with the chairs I was considering. They were both helpful and knowledgeable. The La-z-boy store in Short Pump very clean and represents the company very well. So far my experience has been top notch. I'm expecting the order in about 5 weeks.

  We purchased a recliner and we are very happy with it. Steve C., the salesman, explained to us about the quality of their product and answered our questions effectively.

  We ordered a sofa, recliner, coffee table and end tables. Upon delivery, the recliner was the only item that was correct. I hate giving the folks at the store a bad review because none of this was their fault. Everything was ordered correctly. There is definitely issues with quality control and it is sad that corporate makes the store manger take the brunt of the problems when it wasn’t the store’s fault, as there is no path to reach anybody in corporate to discuss. And fyi, they will not push my reorder through as it is going to take at least 4 weeks for delivery and it took two weeks before the order was reordered so 6 weeks of waiting for the correct items. The jury is out until I get the reorder.

  Everyone has been very friendly, supportive, and the design team helped us immensely. One has to be very careful though because our sales associate listed our final decisions with nearly aspect listed incorrectly. When I went to pay not only did each piece of furniture have the wrong color or material, but items were totally left off the list altogether. Make sure to get photos of what you want, get a printed copy of what you ordered, not email because the mistakes occurred between the final selection and any email. Without being extremely detailed and specific, it would have been a disaster on delivery day. But the staff worked hard to correct everything and was very responsive once they learned what happened. We look forward to receiving the final selections. We loved the quality and the support along the way.

  We came into the store with a general idea of what we wanted, but we weren’t completely sure. Alexis greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. She suggested a room design consultation and explained that it was free and that there would be no pressure to buy. We told her we did intend to purchase furniture but needed to understand our budget and timeline first. She reassured us that the consultation was still free and without pressure. We had our home measured and returned for the design consultation with Judy. At first, Judy was very kind and informative. She offered room layout suggestions we hadn’t even considered, helped us choose fabric, and answered all of our questions. At no point did she ask about our purchase timeline, and we felt comfortable and supported during the process. However, when we told her we would be purchasing an ottoman that day and needed more time to discuss and budget for the rest of the furniture, her attitude noticeably changed. She went from warm, bubbly, and helpful to cold and distant, and it felt like she was no longer interested in assisting us. The shift in demeanor was very uncomfortable and honestly ruined what had been a very positive experience up to that point. It made us feel as though the kindness and attention we received were based on the assumption that we were buying everything immediately. I even apologized as we were leaving for not purchasing more that day and explained that this was a big decision for us and that we would be back when we were ready. She attempted to be polite again, but it felt forced, and it left us feeling unwelcome. Now we’re left trying to decide whether to return and purchase the furniture we were excited about or move on to another company where we won’t feel treated differently for taking time to make a costly decision.
