    I have mixed feelings about Lowes, it's a 50/50 proposition regarding customer service. Sometimes great service, other times terrible service and then there's no service. Normally I can find a better price.

    This Lowes has become a train wreck over the past six years. It used to be fairly decent but it's been a long slow ride downhill. Just a couple of examples from this week alone: My cashier was having difficultly applying a 10% off coupon (mailed to me by Lowes) - they called the manager for assistance. The manager replied "I'm at lunch, send them to customer service". So I drug all of my lumber, paint, etc to the opposite side of the store and customer service had to assist. Yesterday I asked for a common type of plywood to which they said "we don't have any I would go to Home Depot". I even asked them to check outside. The website said they had 700 in stock. Today I had to wait in line watching and listening to a cashier flirt with a customer for over seven minutes AFTER the transaction was complete. In addition, the parking lot is FULL of trash, cigarette butts, plastic, wood scraps, etc. constantly at all hours of every day. Lastly, it's not uncommon for them to open one minute after posted hours. A corporation as large as this should open on time every single day without exception. I am taking my business elsewhere.

    Terrible service. Every time I go and have a question I have to hunt somebody down. Ask them, and then they send me to somebody else who turns right around and sends me back to the original person. It's terrible!

    If I bought my stuff on Amazon, I wouldn't have to deal with their 2 day return policy. Buy on Amazon. It should be largely printed on the website, the product, and when you receive it, big letters, so people know they have 2 days to check everything and return it. What happened to 30 days and why is it 3 months for craftsman and 2 days for everything else. Like they punish you for not buying the brand they want! Damn
