Rudest customer service I have ever had the displeasure of receiving. The associate did not speak nor did he make any eye contact just shoved an order in my face as he was chewing on some stick in his mouth and said, "this is your!!!" Order for Nguyen around 3:05pm April 28th!! Uber order!! Hopefully that young man gets some better training. Had to push the button multiple times before he even casually slid around the customer service desk from nearby. I waited almost 10 mins just to get scrappy service!!

My husband purchased 25 bags of gravel today 4/26/26 and requested assistance loading them onto the cart and getting them into our truck. Last week when he purchased gravel a team member used a forklift to help him load. Today, even though the cashiers requested assistance for him multiple times, the only offer of help he got was from an off the clock team member who requested compensation for help, which we declined. Those bags of gravel were 40 pounds each, and I can’t believe whoever is managing the store couldn’t be bothered to send help to load our truck. My 62 year old husband put every single bag on a cart, then loaded each bag with no assistance. In our experience, when heavy purchases are made, a team member usually helps with the heavy lifting front. Never again, we’ll drive to Va Beach next time.

To the young girl working customer service with braces. The AUDACITY of you to make us go to the back of the store to PHYSICALLY carry a gas lawn mower in the box is INSANE. She basically told us we were SOL because she “couldn’t find”
(Didn’t look for) a pallet jack. Don’t order anything heavy from this store because the workers are SO LAZY. I hope you lose your job, I called corporate and put in a complaint.

I am a frequent shopper here and I am giving this store in particular 3/5. I am craving consistency from Lowe’s..
Sometimes, my shopping experience is a solid NO due to minimal help and products out of stock. But other times it’s a 5/5.
I placed a LARGE online order this past week, and for some reason everything that could go wrong, did. Part of my order was sent to several stores around the Hampton Roads area which confused everyone and delayed everything. Order was placed on Friday and by Tuesday I was a little annoyed. Calling the 866 number for customer service will be another review, but what I know is that this store stays busy. Calling is probably not the best way to get answers so just take yourself to the store. I speak from experience 🥴
I ended up going in to the store and came in contact with hard-working and pleasant people who acknowledged the mistakes, and promptly began to help. I really appreciated their honesty at having dropped the ball.
In the delivery department, there is a woman who gave 110%! At customer service, another woman gave 110%, and two days later my order was delivered - free of charge. Do they have some kinks? Sure. Spring is a busy time, I get that. This is a large and busy store - but there are some great employees who really are there to help.
Online ordering is wonky as it shows items available but then they really aren’t. Also, it starts pulling from any store without telling you, so that’s confusing. If I reviewed based on the 866 number and app/online ordering, I would go with 2/5. Fix those issues and you have a solid and consistent good experience.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
