    This store has become a complete clown show. Nobody at the registers only four self-checkouts operational and align 20 deep and it's the middle of the day nothing special Time to start shopping at Home Depot.

    Hello, my name is George so I come to Lowe’s all the time here in Newport News, Virginia and it always seems that every staff is extremely helpful but the other day I was in here getting a bunch of supplies for a plumbing job that I’m putting in my new house. I couldn’t find a bunch of the fittings cause they were all mixed up or up top and I needed more 20 feet three-quarter inch blue. Pex so Carlos, who had been helping me since he seen I couldn’t figure out where everything was at went and found me not only every single fitting that I needed, but he found me in the back the three-quarter inch. Pex I need it and I just believe that this guy is a fabulous worker just a willingness to sheer humbleness. This gentleman displayed is wonderful. I definitely know that if I ever needed help I could count on him no matter what department it was he would help shout out to you my guy sorry I seen you last night and called you, Marcus lol

    NEVER will I have anything installed by Lowes! Ordered exterior doors back at the beginning of July, had installers come out the beginning of August to find out the measurements of my doors were incorrect. Lowes had to reorder my door because they went by the SALESMAN's measurements, instead of the contractor. So fast forward to the beginning of NOVEMBER, new door came in, and I have an appointment to get the doors installed. Received a text from the installer that Lowes didn't have all of my supplies and they were scrambling around the store trying to find it. Now, mind you, a few days prior, I received a call from a Lowes associate to come pick up my materials. I explained to the rep that my doors are being installed and I shouldn't have to pick anything up. He said, well I'm glad I called because the order was going to be returned tomorrow. So they had my materials when they were going to return them, but dont have them the day of install. So AGAIN my installation had to be rescheduled. 11/26 is when the appt was rescheduled to. I received an automated message saying my install date and time from 8 to 12. I didn't receive any confirmation from Lowes or the installation company the day prior, like I had the previous two times. I called the installer, thinking it was going to be the same person the first two times. He said I dont have you on my schedule, SO now I call Lowes and they have the installation company call me to confirm that someone was coming out. Around 9:30 a.m. two installers come out, and proceed to take out my front door. They entire frame is out and I am told that I needed a piece of wood to put under the threshold "if I want it done right". The installation process stopped.i finally told the guy to just put the old piece of wood back in there. He decided to go get wood, and Lowes would reimburse him. Fast forward. My door is installed, but a piece of wood on top of the frame had fallen out of place. I was told the trim and my storm door couldn't be put on until I get that fixed because "they couldn't do that". The guys gave me a number to a guy he knows, the guy came out and haven't heard from anyone since. So my front door has no trim, so I can see into the side of the house. I asked the installer if the wood is going to get damaged if it rains, he said it shouldn't....it SHOULDN'T! And I will need to caulk the gaps. Not finished yet, now onto the back door, long story short with this, the door is the wrong size, and has to be reordered AGAIN. I also ordered an outswing and they gave me an inswing. So, now I'm waiting for LOWES to reorder for the THIRD time a door to fit my home. The installers left my doors exactly how I described, wood exposed, gaps, so I had to stuff plastic bags into the gaps to help keep my home warm and hopefully bugs and critters out. The trim on the inside door also isn't flush against the frame, and I can put my fingers into the brick under the treshold. I spoke with a rep from Lowes Corp and she said she will.persianlly call me on Friday to update me on my order. Never heard from her, so I went to the Lowes yesterday and talked to a woman who was going on vacation but would let the asst manager know what was going on. I told her I want a call today or tomorrow, meaning today, no call as of yet. I had to call an outside handyman to come an assess what is needed for the front door. So not only did I have to pay for my doors up front, and have to wait going on over 5 months now for doors, now I have to pay a handyman to come and fix what has already been done. I told Lowes I will be giving them an honest review. I tried to wait until my doors were in because I dont trust them, but at this rate, I'm never getting my doors anyway. I will NEVER use LOWES for any type of installation again. This has been the WORST experience with having anything installed, and their customer service is just as bad.

    Got everything I needed for a good price, people were friendly and helpful as I could not find something. Some things not easily seen from app location and 1 was not in the correct spot and not labeled well but all around good

    I have been visiting this store for many years and I know most of the staff very well. However, I have noticed that the quality of customer service has declined significantly lately. Several employees have been treating customers poorly, and I believe this is an issue that should be addressed, as it negatively affects the overall experience in the store.
