Long & short GO TO HOME DEPOT or ACE HARDWARE! Horrible experience picking up. I spoke with multiple agents. No one wanted to assist me & kept pointing me to other people or a screen. Everyone wanted to stand around doing nothing. They refused to take the name. Required I type in the 18 digit order #. Then asked for the name multiple times. Why Make the process unnecessarily difficult? You obviously can just use the name. a nightmare experience no accountability. Not here to make a seamless easy shopping experience. Home Depot & ACE are actually really close trust me.

We recently placed an online order for a sink/vanity and had an overall positive experience. It did take a bit longer than expected to find someone available to help us lift and load the heavier item, which was a little frustrating at first. However, the associate who ultimately helped us completely turned the experience around. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond by pointing out that the packaging showed signs of water damage. He even took the initiative to check with his manager to make sure we were aware and could address it before leaving the store. We truly appreciated his honesty and proactive approach—it likely saved us from having to make a return trip later. We understand that things like damaged packaging can happen, but great customer service like that makes all the difference. Thank you for having team members who care. His service was top notch!

No call, no show for installation thats been scheduled for a month. Been waiting since December for custom closet doors. Cant get anyone on the phone. My pets were locked up all day and my mom waiting all day for them not to show. Yall suck. Go somewhere else for home improvement because they are unprofessional

After shopping at Lowes for over 30 years, and spending over $25,000 alone at the Mechanicsville location, we're done with this company. Tonight my wife and I went into this store to buy 5 storage crates that were on sale. We were entering our veteran's information into the self checkout station when a sales associate came over to intervene. We politely told him we didn't need his help and continued to check out. The associate then had the audacity to count the crates to compare to the scanned total that was displayed on the monitor! All of the crates were stacked inside one another with the lids resting on top. Next, the associate insisted on removing the lids from the top crate to ensure we weren't concealing something that we did not intend to pay for. I told him I wasn't a thief and began to remove the lids when he stopped me and said he would do it himself. So I stepped back and allowed him to inspect the crate...a big empty hole. His behavior was very invasive and an attack on our integrity. I don’t know what triggered his actions. We have never experienced such treatment at a Lowes before, much less anywhere else. We have been loyal customers for what seems like forever. The incident was so disturbing that I returned the crates for a refund within 30 minutes. I was told at the return desk that it is corporate policy for an employee to inspect these crates during checkout. However, two weeks ago I purchased a few of these crates at the same Lowes and had no issues. If this really is corporate policy, then it is a spot check policy and doesn't apply to everyone. In other words, check the customers that appear to be dishonest. Lowes needs to make it clear beforehand that all customers will be subjected to a "security check," otherwise do away with the self checkout stations and revert back to store employees scanning all items and processing payments. We felt like we were singled out because the associate found us to be suspicious. So, that begs a question. Does Lowes stereotype and profile customers? But that wasn't the end of the drama. A different sales associate who issued my refund miscounted and gave me credit for only 4 out of 5 crates. The original receipt clearly showed that I had purchased 5 crates. It should have been a simple refund but now she had to cancel the refund and reissue it. So, here we are. A military veteran family with a Pro account that has spent boo coo $ at this particular Lowes. But we're devalued and disrespected as customers. How can we continue to support this company after an experience like this? We intend to make Home Depot our go-to store moving forward and hope for better treatment and service there.
