  Something has happened here to Sherman Outdoor's customer service. I have been a long-time customer, but they have failed me. I made multiple attempts last spring to order wood through their phone number and they failed to respond. I tried again in November. Initially exchanged text messages to clarify my order. But then nothing. I sent multiple texts and tried to call leaving a message. I have the text message trails to prove it, unfortunately. Talk about walking away from business. I ordered my wood from Clark's Firewood, who picked up and responded immediately.

  Very responsive company and easy to schedule delivery. Wood is excellent!! Perfect size and kiln fired is a game changer for wood burning fires!! Also did an excellent job delivering and stacking the wood. 💯 satisfied!!

  I have purchased 1/2 cords and more from Sherman Outdoor Services over the years. We have an older home and the wood heat in our fire places keep it comfortable during the coldest days. Recently, they went above and beyond to deliver a 1/2 cord of high quality wood for us during these freezing temps - and the stacking service was well worth the nominal cost. Thank you again for the great quality and service!

  Yes, buying kiln dried wood from Sherman Outdoor Services is totally worth it. I live in a DC row house with a narrow alley way that my driveway connects to. Even with that degree of challenge, Sherman had no difficulty bringing a truck in and skillfully backing into the driveway to deliver half a cord of wood. We have frequent fires in our Solo stove and the high-quality wood burns beautifully every night without exception. We've been customers every year since 2020 and you can bet we'll turn to them again next winter, too.
